Drop down option for mail to self

I'd like to see an option added to the drop down menu when you right-click an item like a recipe, salvage, etc., that immediately emails the item to your @Global email. It would simplify the process of trading items between alts, or even using it for temporary storage when an inventory fills up mid-mission. Furthermore, it would safeguard against accidentally sending the item to someone with *almost* the same @Globalname due to a typo. Of course, should your email have the max number of attachments already (20), then the option would be grey'd out.

Dear NCsoft, if you go through with this shutdown you've guaranteed you'll not see another dime from me on any project you put out, ever.

Easier still:

  1. Open Notepad (or your favorite raw text editor du jour).
  2. Type in your global
  3. Spellcheck it
  4. Highlight it
  5. Copy it
  6. Paste it in as many times as you need. (In Windows this is CTRL+V)

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

If you can use get global on yourself you could ctrl+c from the chat screen.

Hyper, that is NOT easier still as you have to use the keyboard. Being able to send things with one hand, your mouse, is a mucho easier option in many cases.

Eg. for people with ... uhh, what is that wrist rotating disorder caused by too much keyboard use?

RSI?

I hit reply to the last one I used. Then my name is always right.

You're probably thinking RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) or CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)

Wish I'd thought of that.

Yeah, avoiding spelling errors in the global is an added benefit, but focusing on that (even to the extent of adding *more* steps to an already cumbersome process by opening a text editor, sheesh) is kinda sidestepping the whole point.

Just want a quicker, easier way to mail-to-self, reducing as many steps as possible. As much as I like being able to mail inventory items, the process itself is kinda annoying (especially when in the process of dragging the item to the email window, I accidentally drag it across the edge on another window which ends up on top of the email window, forcing me to have to start over. Pain in the 5th point of contact I tell ya)

Just being able to Right-click, then click "mail to self" would be much less unpleasant, and sure as heck beat out having to pop PFF while I alt tab to notepad and so forth mid combat...

Well if you are in the middle of combat, perhaps you should not be sending emails. Try killing stuff while in combat instead.
