  1. I am having the same issue,game crashes with message out of memory..really? and no I do not run the launcher in the background,it is on auto close.However.the memory leak has been around for many years,trying to edit your SG base is horrible and has been for a very long time.

    Has anyone else been following the incarnate rewards topic closely enough to know if individual participation is supposed to affect which table you get? I know that in the first 20 pages of it, the devs kept saying that the only thing that could improve the random roll that determined which table you got was league success, but they also kept saying it in oblique ways which still left questions.

  5. Have to agree it is not long enough this year. Not all of us are students with 2-3 weeks off.
    Many have careers that operate 24/7/365. With the holiday season being the busiest times of the year.
    Add on top of that, the need to find time for family, shopping, prep/cook holiday meals,and extra hours at work.For some of us,it leaves little time for CoH play.
    It would be nice if they extended the time to be more in-line with the past years.
    For those who tire of the event...simple..don't participate.It is a fairly unobtrusive event.If the complaint is they cannot find teams outside of the Chalet....well.....what does that indicate?
  6. It is a bug,was known on the beta server.
    Best work around that has been found is to have "all" team leaders be in the same Super Group.Make sure all three teams are in the base before starting the CoP.

    Then all 3 "team leaders" should enter through the base porter "first".Once the leaders are in the first mission, and they are in the same instance have them give the all clear for their team to enter.
    While this is not an absolute guarantee,I have seen few times it did not work.
  7. Not sure if others are having this same problem or not.It seems I can no longer access the Trench coat (3 month vet reward) or the Magic Bolero (Magic Booster Pack).
    My characters that are already wearing these can access them,however if the same characters other costume slot does not have it already on,it does not show in the costume selection.
    I cannot access them on newly made characters nor can I access them with characters that have never worn them before.
    I am not entirely sure how long this bug has been around,but it seems fairly recent.Can anyone else confirm they are missing from the costume selection?

    I have found if I go to the "custom" settings and choose the "witch costume" I can then customize my costume to include the trench coat as well as the magic bolero.
  8. I believe it may be your auxiliary attachments causing the "very bright, glowing magical emanations" The Stone Throwers animation is very subtle.Glowing red eyes and the magic symbol on the base will pulse with red light,it also will turn the "head" towards any apparent danger.

    If this is not the glow you are referring to,then I would suggest moving the auxiliary to a different room and see if that cures the problem.

    There are also many defense items that have the animation stop after a certain time.This is a bug that has been with us for many years.The "Arcane Pain Field" is a Dragon with red skulls and red emanating circles.The animation will shut off if you leave the base and re-enter,also will shut off if you move it to a different location within the same room.
  9. # 1-Many Base Crafted Items require you to unlock the badge that grants the ability to craft said item. So smaller SG's may not have that item unlocked .Check the SG badges against each other to see if they are both unlocked.
    # 2-Many Auxiliary items need specific systems in order to attach.Check the info and see if they are compatible. You may also need to check if it will fit into the room and/or if that size room allows that particular auxiliary.

  19. Yes vet posters are see thru,not walk thru,I have had a wall made of them in my base for a very long time. The wall art(pictures) are also see thru on the back side.I have a wall made of those also. But no item that I know of is walk thru as you are describing.

    * The double doors was a bug, it was not a feature. Therefore, it was a FIX, not a removal.
    * The clear glass was also a bug. In fact, it was due to SG symbols that were not showing up. Imagine the SG's that couldn't use the symbols they wanted because of that bug. That was also a FIX... not a removal.

    Also, MANY....let me repeat....MANY have posted about going to HeroCons,Pax,etc,etc and questioning the Dev's about bases.The reply seems to always be the same. "Soon","someday","on the table","being looked into","after this issue","attempted to" "would like to". But nothing ever concrete.

    I would have to think that most Base Builders are still waiting for the day "Hell freezes over" or that "Cold day in hell"

Yes I have all booster packs as well as the Good v Evil(download only version,did not give free play time)and the retail version of CoV, IIRC the only booster that gave a free months time was the Mac version, the CoV Retail and perhaps the Good V Evil. But I could be wrong on that. I did not however get any free time for friends joining. I never sent any invitations.

    Strange thing is,it used to say 4 years + for time paid. Now it seems to have lost some of those.Although I do have the badges for my time paid. Perhaps it is simply a typo,but I highly doubt that since I remember it showing 4+ years before.
    I am not sure,but I think time cards show as time paid also,but again I could be wrong on that aspect and I did use a time card once.

    So..1 free month for CoV retail,1 free month for Mac download,1 time card(cannot remember if the time card gave 1 or 2 months play) but again, I do remember it saying 4+ years last time I sent a support ticket for the vet rewards.

    I am not complaining mind you,I have always had great responses from the support team.I am simply attempting to show that something may be wrong with the system they use to calculate the vet rewards versus time paid.
  23. It is my believe the complete system is broken. I also had to request them to look into my vet rewards now for the fourth time.

    Explain to me how they are not only different, but almost a full year in difference?
    Something is terribly wrong... Yes I have paid for 5 years of service.I started this game with a 14 day buddy trial and subscribed before the 14 day trial expired,so the 5 year 1 month vet reward is correct.
    I am wondering if perhaps this is what may be causing the problems so many of us are having with this bug.
    Perhaps it is time Niv or some other higher up take a look to see what corrupted the system they are using and make attempts to fix this.
  24. Sometimes... not in all cases,if you sell all power items and then reinstall new ones it will bring your power back on-line.Something to try while waiting on a GM.You may have to sell your control unit and reinstall a new one also.
    Back when issue 12/13? released ,some items were changed as to size and attachments.You had to sell back the older model and install the new ones for them to work properly.
