Could not connect to DBserver ?

Hey everyone, I've been playing city of heroes for a while now, but today I logged in and clicked on the server freedom and it froze. After a while it said could not connect to DBserver, any ideas what this is?

server maint...check the announcements for your time zone!

lol I looked for that but I couldnt find them... I will figure it out soon enough

There seems to be a problem with the login. A lot of people have not been able to log in to Triumph and some have said this happened for a while to Freedom.

Triumph is down for me as well. Same DBserver message. I hope they can get it fixed soon.

I can't log into Champion. Tried several alts. They all come up with the DBServer error.

I got the "DB Server" error too, on Protector. This is an hour after maint is supposed to finish. I eventually tried Freedom, which shortly thereafter crashed... I didn't even get to load my character. And I just now got disconnected from Protector (yeah I did eventually get on) and I load characters, it freezes and throws the "You must fill out the account and password fields to log in to your account!" error even though I'd already been into character selection. Major issues since maintenance.

Okay Update: I've tried logging into characters on Justice, Freedom, Pinnacle, Champion, Protector and Virtue. I finally got on after creating a NEW character on Liberty.

Oh server maintenance I was wondering cause it was getting aggravating getting that damn "Could Not Connect To DB Server" message.

Well.... Nice to meet a DB error after dcing on a MoSTF.....

I don't see any forum announcement about midday maintanance. Its after 1pm central time.

I cannot log in, either.

I'm getting "Lost connection to DBServer" on every server I try. It lists the characters for the server I choose, but when I click a character and click Enter... it just sits there until it times out eventually and gives the DBServer dialog.

There have been ongoing problems with all the common servers (login server, chat, market, AE) ever since the 12-hour maintenance last week. It looks like there was some kind of hardware/software reconfiguration that has not been totally successful.

Same thing here. I logged in for an hour, logged out to change toons and now I can't get back in. Been trying for 30 minutes. Keep getting a "Lost connection to DB server" error.

I can get to the character select screen, but clicking a character causes it to hang and then eventually boot me back to the login with a DB error. Feed the gerbil already!

I can get to the character select screen on Protector, but when I pick one the screen goes black and I get the "not responding" message.

Same issue here. Can't log in to report it :P

Can't log into Justice, Triumph, or Freedom atm. Have no toons elsewhere.

Infinity is down too, havent seen anyone say that server. Same DB error problem.
