well lets see having over 200 alts in total. i tried justice, infinity, pinnacle, virtue, and champion. db server error

Same issue ... even the framerate on the char selection screen got choppy starting yesterday, then DC's, and all servers all chars freeze up on char loading today.
I am MOST unhappy ...

Getting DBserver errors trying to log in with toons on Virtue and Guardian. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.

Tried Pinnacle and Freedom, get as far as selecting the character and then entering the city freezes. But I know the server is up my GF is next to me now in game

Victory is down as well, gents.

This is crazy at least the devs could post a response to why the servers are down even though they say they are up and running only test is down according to server status

Just adding my name to the list from Freedom.

The servers aren't down, there are people in them playing right now. Today's maintenance just decided to delete the accounts of everyone the Devs don't like, so we can't log in anymore. That's all.

If we want a fast response we need to figure out a way to turn this into an exploit. We need to pretend that we can dupe our logins and get two copies of our characters into the game and then trade rare items to dupe them too before one of the copies auto-logs out.

That will do the trick.

I was playing on Freedom and decided to log in another Freedom character to get a couple badges and now I can't get back in on any Freedom character I've tried, including the one I was on originally. Hoping this is fixed soonish.

Think it's been 45 minutes since I first tried and failed to log in...

Time to mutter and rock back and forth in chair! Let the babbling commence!

I often wonder if it's not a social study of us as a player base, like they do this on purpose to see how quickly we react and how many of us go crazy, ect :P

It is 2:45pm eastern. I am still getting the same thing on Victory and Virtue. Anyone else?

Dunno about you guys, but I'm gonna re-install Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, and see if I can't get it running in Win 7 64-bit. That seems like a less frustrating pursuit than fruitlessly attempting to log on to Virtue for another 45 minutes.

Fortunately, I only loaded the client to check the market, and I've been doing other, productive things instead of stare at the login screen for hours on end. (-:

I was playing for several hours, just logged off(around 2:30 pm EDT). There was some issue with the global friends list, as in it wasn't even an option to pull it up.

Same issue as you all.

Girlfriend is logged in just fine and she's just seen a message that the servers are coming down for maintenance again, with the usual two hour window.

Hopefully it'll be more stable after that.

I'm getting it too, but I'm wondering, what maintenance? There was no msg for it and I was playing for a couple hours before i tried to switch toons and got stuck with the error. Server maintenance is always done in the early morning and now its almost 3pm. So I don't know why people are blaming this on maintenance.

Okay, I'm on ventrilo with a friend and she says that the servers are going down now for maintmence for 2hours. GL wonder what they'll attempt "to fix" now

Ditto here on the west coast. Logging in fine....even can pick which server...but click on a character and hit "enter Rogue Isles/Paragon City"....bam. Booted back to log in screen.
