I keep wondering what's specifically ailing Virtue. Since I17 hit, it seems to be down still after all the other servers have come back after patch/maint.

Not sure,but there was a patch on test server a few days back.In fact the patch seems to have been a rollback,my rent was due again on my test base

It wouldn't take long to just type a short "All the servers are being taken down at X o'clock for something. They should be back up by about Y o'clock. Give us a moment to approve a form of words and we'll describe what the reason is."
It doesn't have to be a biggie, but a little courtesy toward the paying customers wouldn't go amiss.

However, just because there was no client patch, this doesn't mean there wasn't any kind of changes serverside. I don't see any announcement though.
