No power in base?
go back through and make sure you have power sources (in case someone else had base editing rights an removed them in your absence)
i would check to make sure if your rent is paid because they changed how base rent works, the base rent is based off of your power sources, some workshop items, ect, basically anything non-decor has some kind of rent it adds on to your total rent that you have pay.

rent is based only on the items in the base
- the IO worktable for example adds 100 to the rent
- each storage container (any kind) adds 100 to the rent
on average you get about 250 prestige from a mish completion which right there could cover about 2 objects. within maybe 2 mishs you could prolly make enough prestige to cover the rent.

paragonwiki has the current base rent calculations listed in the link above

Humility, sometimes when you have been gone for a loooooong time you need to get a GM or whomever to turn the power back on again. Not really sure how this is done though.
Enjoy your day please.
Ok, so I visited the SG registrar in port oakes and was told that I was all paid up on rent. I returned to my base and still have the same problem.
I have an Energy Terminal room with a basic generator (1000 energy) and two circuit breakers (150 each) so I should have 1300 energy available. My base lists 535 consumed, 0 produced.
I do have several storage containers (3 enhancement, 1 base salvage and a vault) so there should be at least some rent to be paid I would think... but the registrar says I'm all paid up. I guess it's time to put in a ticket.
If anyone else has any thoughts to try while I'm waiting, any help would be most appreciated.
EDIT: I also tried selling and re-placing the generator just to see if that would reset it, and it had absolutely no effect.

i dont think this is the issue since he can still get into his base

This is a known issue when a base has been let go for an extended period of time. You can enter it (because rent has been paid up) but there is still no power.
Sometimes the issue has been reported to be fixed by moving stuff around, but that's only hearsay. However, I know for a fact that a GM can quickly fix the issue for you.
Humility - send in a quick /petition to get a GM to turn it back on for you.

In related news, one of the reasons I ended up coming back to CoX was a discussion on with some friends in a different game that turned to community, and how the best MMO community I have ever encountered was for CoX. Great peeps here.
Sometimes... not in all cases,if you sell all power items and then reinstall new ones it will bring your power back on-line.Something to try while waiting on a GM.You may have to sell your control unit and reinstall a new one also.
Back when issue 12/13? released ,some items were changed as to size and attachments. You had to sell back the older model and install the new ones for them to work properly.
I believe our children are our future and I reflect on the lessons and values we taught them.
I believe the world has many real Villains, what we need are more Heroes.

since i had never let my base rent go overdue long i didnt have much experience on this issue, from what i heard from poeple who have had bases offline they werent able to enter their bases but as soon as they paid rent they could enter no problem.
i did not know that it stayed shutdown after an even longer period of time (the people i talked to had only had been away for a few months or so)

I just got back from a CoX hiatus, and had this issue. Waiting on a GM now.
I also filed a bug report, even though it's apparently a known issue, just in case.
The rent was paid, and I could enter, nothing was on, however.
I'm currently having this issue as well. Been away since last October. Guess I better file a support request.

An in game petition (under "general" iirc) will usually get a GM's attention - typically rather quickly... 15 mins. to maybe an hour tops. Unless it's a major extended holiday, although in the last year or so they've been pretty good about keeping at least a couple GM's - seemingly 2/47.
City of Heroes didn't fail, City of Heroes was killed. If a 747 dropped on your house, you'd say you were killed, not you failed to find a safer dwelling.

Ok, so I've been away for a long time... a couple of years since I last played. I have the smallest size of base with no rent etc. Now... I have no power in the base. I have a generator and circuit breakers in the power room, but it lists zero power generated and XXX power used.
Any thoughts? I am hoping that it is just something simple I've overlooked after my long break. Any help is much appreciated... I want my base teleporters back dang it!
