All I want to do is be able to sneak up on someone and beat them to death with a railway sign is this too much to ask? I demand we get power proliferation and if my demands are not met I will mumble about it being unfair on an internet forum!

Similar problem to the above poster I have a GTS 250 as well. Game worked fine prior to I20 but since I20 every time I hit an aoe attack my framerate drops to less than 1fps I have the latest drivers and am playing on Windows 7. Even when I turn the graphical settings down to minimum the game still freezes when I try to use an AOE.
no idea what is causing this. -
I have a DM/Fire Brute and it is awesome here is the build I am working towards at the moment. Beware it is quite expensive though and it can only get about 40% S/L defence

1. The Council- Secret conspiracies, Super soldiers,Vampires,Werewolves,Body stealing aliens and Giant robots! What is not to love there, A fun enemy group from level 1 to 50
2. Freakshow- Frustrated yuppies jack themselves up on steroids and stolen military hardware and go beat up people. Part of some of the funniest and most entertaining arcs.
3. Warriors- An unusal choice here but I really love the idea of this group a bunch of bored 20 something take inspiration from Ancient Greece and go and beat the crap out of things oldschool style. I just wish they would show up more. -
I have to admit I love my DM/FA stacking heals helps as does stacking end restorers and while it does feel a bit fragile at times when I try and take an Alpha strike Phoenix turns me into a portable hand grenade

For whatever reason they just never gained my appreciation as a combo in other sets, so I'm kind of hoping the Illusion set will tilt the scales to finishing one.
Love my Earth/Storms, and love my varying defender types, that have control styles for the most part. So I know its not the 'controller' theme, playstyle or that but would like some thoughts on what the big draw from what I can see is of rad over kin.

Illusions cannot be buffed or healed so generally you want a secondary that debuffs your enemy. hence why most people take Rad as it is the best secondary for debuffing though I am also a fan of stuff like storm or Trick arrows myself to pair with illusion. -
Well I have Time and Chance a Priestess of the goddess of Luck who will get a promotion to Avatar of the Goddess with issue 19
I also have Thief of Life a succubus bucking for promotion to full on Arch Demon.
Consecrated Barrier not actually supernatural herself but the magic amulet that grants her super strength and toughness does contain the soul of an archangel which is going to give her a major power boost
Handmaiden of Death a reborn acolyte of a goddess of death hoping to be promoted to Chooser of the Slain (High priestess in other words)
so no actual gods but a lot of real religious power on my roster. The rest will likely get increased power due to tech upgrades better training etc rather than actual godly power. -

My Blood mage/Hellfire Brute (DM/FA) Dark melee coloured red and fluffed as draining out the power of blood. While flames are coloured yellow with black highlights making them Hellfire. my Volcano/Ashcloud controller (Earth/Storm) using the lava set for earth and colouring storm a dirty gray. But I have to admit I like the water blaster idea. I have a Ice/Mental fluffed as a water blaster might remake her as En/Mental or just give her a praetorian doppelgänger.

Decided to finally roll my first corrupter but can't decide what secondary to take. Does anyone have any suggestions on what pairs off well with rad? obviously /Rad fits thematically but I already have a /rad controller so would like to avoid that but anything else is fine.

I have a DM/Fire Brute which is pretty damned fun. The damage aura helps to mitigate DMs one weakness (a lack of raw damage) and Consume and healing flames stack well with Siphon Life and Dark Consumption. Getting all these powers up and running turns you into a villainous version of the energizer bunny.

am I the only one who likes the Sky Raiders? A US military unit gone rogue to protest the fact that the government prefers using heroes to its own army?
The engineers are annoying but otherwise the group is fun and well balanced for the level it appears at. -
Basically are the passives now worth taking after the buff they received? and if so are they worth additional slots and what IO's should go in them?

My Dark/FA Thief of Life gets her powers from the blood of her foes. So with power customisation it looks like she is literally ripping the blood from them and using it in a variety of shields. I am particually impressed by the way Healing flames looks when you tint it red as a "blood heal" and how the other shields look as if she is constantly surrounded by an aura of blood. I am loving it much more fun than many of my other characters.

To be honest my skills at theory crafting are fairly weak at the best of times and given that I haven't played for at least a year and am playing with a power-set combination that I have never used before it is probably understandable that my build was err sub-par. Still thanks again for taking the time to correct it and I feel stupid for missing the dual builds thing.

Thanks for the help. Decided to go with a WM/WP. I am currently at level 12 so still quite a way to go and a lot to relearn. But really what more does a brute need to know beyond SMASH!
I would appreciate it if someone would take a look at my build just in case I am missing anything obvious. Slotting order is not set in stone but generally this is what I want to end up with.

Played a while ago on the European servers and have now switched over to the Dark Side (american servers) and for my first character I would like to play a War Mace Brute. But seeing as how the last time I played was issue 12? (after the cyborg booster pack but before shield defence) I have no idea what to go for on a brute for a secondary. I quite fancy Inv but it looks a bit clicky and might cause redraw issues and of course never having played around with the "new" shields they are tempting too.
