I just hit 50 on my BS/SD. She has been around for awhile but started as a once in awhile project while I focused on a few other toons (such as my main). She is an absolute joy to use and I have been neglecting others while trying to finish her build.

I have a DA scrapper toon and use DR quite often and have.... 6 points toward the heal badge. have never, ever figured out where those 6 points came from and I first remember seeing it last year.

I usually do not have a lot of time to spend in game so I tend to do buy it now prices for salvage in order to get a build done or at least to a place where I feel comfortable testing it out. However, that does sometime create a bit of a burnout for a particular toon and I may not go back to it right away or even finish the build right off.

People want to pay more. You heard me correctly. They WANT to pay more. They may grouse a bit but it makes what they have a bit more special because they had to pay a hefty sum to get it. Never mind the fact that thousands of others also have it.

Why do I say this?

This past week I shifted a little away of crafting and selling generic IOs and picked up a few set IOs. Two of them were the Gaussian triple. I bought all of the salvage at pretty much buy it nao prices (less than 24 hours), crafted @ level 50, and posted for about 300,000 inf which is far below the actual cost to make them. One sold for 10m and the other for 11m and each took two days to sell.

I have also crafted and posted damage IOs at various levels and posted them for my cost plus 25% (market fees and the like) and have been paid as much as 1m inf for something that was posted at 75K inf. This happens time and time again.

They want to pay more. I know because they could be paying a lot less if they were to just to have a bit of patience.

1) Women of Artemis costume pieces. Sadly I will probably never attend a con and a KoA has been high on my wish list ever since I learned about them.

2) Full body tats for men and women. I am female and have ink so why can't my female toons?

3) Sports add on costume pack complete with quad skates for in game derby action.

4) More tips missions. It would be great if this could happen before i19 because doing the same tip missions over and over again is rather annoying. Currently I can only bring myself to run them every few days and even then not a full five.

I am pretty sure that Glen Beck would not so casually mention a hero and then just so happen to casually mention Nazis. If the hero happened to be an alien then he would go on for years about the immigration problem.

The rest of the media would be split between calling them sinners and saints. Plus would be quick to splash the screen, pages, etc with blood on the first mistake that leads to anyone dying. Or anyone dying and said heroes nowhere around. Just queue up the song, `Dirty Laundry` and put it on repeat.

I tend to just wing it until the mid 30s. I think that different playing styles will lead to different results.

For example if I end up running with a group of people in a team and am leveling pretty quickly I tend to pick up a lot of attacks to help keep things down and then focus elsewhere. No tank or anyone who can take alpha well then I might grab Confront. Typically I love my defense so I pick up Parry and Combat Jumping ASAP. However, I will usually put off toggles until I get close to having Stamina (when it becomes an inherent power then after I two slot it). Early slots go to attacks to get in acc, rech, and damage. If I am primary damage and endurance becomes an issue then I will slot end reductions as well.

Pick up True Grit at Level 4. Parry at Level 8. Head Splitter at 32. Shield Charge at 35. Phalanx Fighting is an auto power and since I tend to run with teams I pick it up soon after it is available (between Levels 22 and 26).

With Ninja Run, Jet Packs, etc no need to pick up a travel power right away anymore and I find myself waiting until the first respec to work them in, if I go with any at all.

Warning: At the early levels you will be able to put out a lot of hurt. I had to get used to drawing a great deal of aggro, whether a tank was on the team or not. Keep this warning in mind when you hit the mid-30s because even with just SOs you can put out a lot of hurt.

Frankenslotting IOs that drop along the way and picking up some cheap ones on the market would be best. You will want a little of everything depending on the power being used. Be sure to pick up Parry and slot it for acc and at least one full recharge because the defense bonus will help your survive while leveling. You can always respec out if you build up your def enough with IO sets later.

While leveling I also like to slot acc and def debuff in Slice and Hack. The last three powers in BS I like to attach two-three slots of damage.

You can download GPU-Z and look at how fast the fans are running, how fast the card is running, and see the temps.

That said it may actually be one of two (or both) things:
vbios
bad thermal paste job on the GPU

I recently could not play missions because the ATI 5800 series in my ASUS G73 would overheat and shut down the system. After reading the nightmares of the ASUS RMA system I was overjoyed to see a beta vbios posted and then after applying it things were great.

Ever since applying the non-overclocked vbios my GPU runs at 71 C and kicks up depending on how much churning it is doing but have managed to up the settings in CoH and play several missions without any issues.

I have made almost 200M Inf by routinely selling Generic IOs since picking up GR. If I were to actually expand a bit more I could probably double that so no real surpise.

stability patch, please see announcement that was posted. Not to mention they were sending out messages in Broadcast as well in bright red.

On the scrapper forums I was encouraged to slot the proc in PP and that has worked out extremely well for that toon. I have a second one in Stamina and it has helped with end management a lot. The toon in question is Kat/DA and loves to eat endurance up along with the bad guys.

I had a KM/SR in beta that I was just getting into when everything went live. I plan on trying to recreate sometime in the coming months (working on 5 others right now. Alt-itis? Me? nah!)

I was on the road for several hours today and not sure if I will make it but hopefully a lot of others will definitely be there.

I have been overturning a few generic IOs in mid to high level range pretty regularly for the past couple of days. About 60M+ Inf for just a couple of hours logged in plus what I have taken in on Tip missions.

Thought that I would give another go and now it downloaded a patch and is s--l--o---w--l--y applying it. So did they do it early?

Went to use the freespec before losing it again and cannot login at all. DServer or DBServer error. Any chance of just making the recent one stacking so it can actually be used?

Asus G73 laptop with Win 7 Home 64 bit and running Mids just fine.

Plus there are the super secret cabals that purposefully run items up in price so that the casual players can never have any hope of being able to afford anything beyond SOs.

Does this include the respec? I ask because I had three more to do tonight, before the issue was supposed to drop so I could two respecs for two of my toons back to back (needed to make sure I can recover all of the IOs I want for other builds).
