    ...okay, I'll be honest, I'm suggesting this just because I also want a french maid costume set in the game.

    No, not for perverted reasons, believe it or not.

    Male one would be Butler or something, I guess. Do we have any fancy mansions in Paragon or the Isles where it wouldn't be odd for a bunch of superhumans to work as servants to some rich person?

    Also, while the hint is way too, ahem, "subtle", and Positron gets a kick out of teasing people with things like this, there have been countless hints (and wants) for the 5th Column to return. Who's to say Requiem doesn't have some plans of more epic proportions than we could ever have guessed, that he's been working on behind the scenes all this time?

    Of course, I'm biased, so feel free to disregard what I say.

    Still, I always slot Recharge into mez powers as well. Just plain Acc/Mez isn't enough for me.

    [/ QUOTE ]I did notice the (imo) there, but, really, not all MMs need it. Force Fields and Traps really don't. Dark, Storm and Poisons, sure. Not sure about Trick Arrow because it's relatively unplayed (note that when I say "relatively", it doesn't change a thing if one or two people barge in exclaiming that they do in fact play it) and I don't have personal experience with it, either.

    Anyway. Elec/Elec is a beast for scrapping. It's lacking for tanky purposes - but so is /Fire, so no big difference there. Both sets use unconventional methods for damage mitigation - Fire Aura has a very fast heal, whereas Elec/Elec allows you to use endurance drain as a viable source of damage mitigation. Lightning Rod, Power Sink, Thunder Strike and Lightning Field will result in a mostly-dead mob, where the remaining lieutenants will be pecking at you with Brawl (because they won't have enough endurance for anything better), and the Boss will be unable to do anything as long as you keep pummeling it. Also, Elec Melee does more AoE damage than Fire Melee, if that's your kind of thing.

    Personally I find Elec/Elec more fun. Throw in Mu Mastery for Ball Lightning and you're golden.

    Oh, and you actually can tank the LGTF easily.

    Accurate Defense Buff... Parry/Divine Avalanche? Yeah, should have some of those too, then.




    ...but what really gets on my nerves is the lack of Slow/Recharge enhancements.

  16. I'd think it's a code limitation - if you can rez them, you can probably cast Vengeance on them. I'm sure I don't have to explain why that is a bad idea.

  19. A little bored of generic IOs on my level 50 Brute after several months. Would like to get him slotted up with some more fancy stuff.

    I'm a little stumped as to what would be the best possible combination of IOs/SHOs to get the most out of Lightning Field, though. I'd love to be able to get as much as possible out of four attributes here: Accuracy, Damage, Endurance Reduction and Endurance Modification. Frankenslotting, obviously?

    Six slots. Suggestions? Browsing the black market has so far managed to confuse me. I don't do much IO-ing or HO-ing normally so anything more complex than frankenslotting the res shields for 91% res and endredux (and some rech) with only 4 slots makes me grumble.
  20. How about a light -Special debuff on self on top of the current Endurance crash, replacing the defense debuff. Examples of what I mean with -Special are in Poisons and Cold Domination.

    Also didn't the original Rage have -Recovery? I thought that got removed reeeeeeal fast due to being just too damn horrible.

    Guess I'd best run a few low-difficulty missions with just the tier 1 Punks out to try it out, then. With all pets out my screen is too full of numbers from the Enforcer cones and their Lady Grey proccage, and the Arsonist's fire bombs, heh.
  22. It's not that. I just haven't seen it proc at all. Mids says the proc lasts some five and a half seconds. Like I said, I was monitoring the pet's attributes the whole time and there were no changes to Damage and ToHit over the duration of 3 mission.

    I wanted to make one once, but the concept I had in mind would've required me to be at least level 35 for it to work.

    Nemesis Soldier. Some combination of a Roman helmet and other face details, with a jacket (or, well overall Nemesis-soldier type outfit) and epaulets. And Nemesis Rifle.
    The /Rad bit seems to fit since half the Nemesis mobs seem to attack you with some green smoke. Meh.
