  1. I have the flickering and flashes all the time and have for quite a long time now. I think it has to do with having a large base. It's like the whole thing is difficult to render and it takes time for things to settle down.
  2. I agree with Reptlbrain, however I just want to add here that it looks like you really want to make an Ice blaster. You have a lot of damage here, but you are a defender. My cold/ice has has both of the shields fully slotted with Red Fortune sets. Freeze Ray is OK but I find Bitter Ice Blast to just be an awesome power. The leadership pool is also fine, but I'd rather directly buff my team with good shields. IIRC Sleet is better for reducing def than for damage.

    Good luck!
  3. I would also recommend you buff up your slotting in Blazing Arrow. I think you could do without one or two slots in Disruption Arrow. I also think you might find Explosive Arrow disappointing. I think it is an awesome-looking attack, but it's damage seems very weak to me. Oil Slick Arrow is awesome and needs damage. World of Confusion also leaves a lot to be desired, however it is a nice way to get a full purple set of bonuses for cheap. Personally the slots are worth more to me.

This would also be a way around the oil slick bug. Auto-flaming versus "will not flame" oil slicks so the player can get the effect he or she wants. For the latter, it would not be allowed to be lit by the effects of other player's powers.

And even when paying those penalties where the debuffs are slow(er) to combo up for maximum throughput, the advantages are either negligible or inadequate ... at a price of needing to slot more powers for an almost equal effect in throughput as other powersets.

Trick Arrow needs Buffing ... BADLY!
    100% agree with this.
  6. The only thing special that you need is ten bucks.
  7. Thanks for the help, Fulmens. I went back last night and finished the conversion. That's a nice chunk of change to work with now.
  8. I'm fine with a base booster pack, but I have to say I hate the "Personal Items" function. I would be OK with it if we could delete stuff without having to click the "Yes I am freaking sure I want to delete this item" dialog box. Very annoying. So is flooding my personal items inventory when I want a particular gun case or poster.
  9. You zone into a poorly designed system that needs a total revamp if it is ever to come back.
  10. If all he has is the combo unit then the auxillaries won't do anything. He'll need a main power item and then he can add auxillary items. The same goes for the main control unit. Both, of course, need rooms that will take them. Going from combo unit up to the next level is quite expensive for the small sg.
  11. For Cimerora, use the Ouroboros crystal to select the "Future Threat" arc (in the 45-50 range) and teleport to contact. Quit the story arc when you get there and you have just taken the "shortcut" to Cimerora.
  12. Wow, very cool. I love this idea!
  13. This was my old disco. It no longer exists. It was done a few years ago and was before all the stacking and merging we enjoy today was allowed.

  14. I cannot get past the server selection screen and get the "Lost connection to DB server" nonsense.
  15. I don't think it will do anything like those you listed. Doing a server transfer will, however.

Seems you answered your own question there.
  17. I like Trick Arrow, but to me it seems a jack of all trades and master of none. Plus, with the animation times and redraw, it seems that the battle is over by the time I lay down all my debuffs.

There are no buffs, either. I can think of two that would be feasible and easy to add: Triage Arrow and Force Field arrow. Both stuck in one place and will do essentially what the Traps equivalents will do. If I redid TA from the beginning, I would add several new arrows and make the user choose up to nine of them - that way one could make themselves more buff-centric or debuff-centric.

Oh, and I'm sorry but I don't buy the "we can't fix the OSA lighting bug" thing. If you can't fix it, then replace the power with new code so that it will work. Have two OSA buttons if needed: one that is just the slick, and one that will light after 1 second after hitting.

    Patriotic Arcs

I have one called "The Axis Strikes Back!" (I think that's the name - just search under @Dr. Feedback) that involves the Nazis winning WWII due to time travel. You, of course, go back and stop it. Sort of patriotic. Then again, isn't stomping Nazis considered patriotic?

    3man MoITF

    Impressive! Well done.
  20. Once my toons are 50 and IO'd out with sets, I generally do not have a problem. However, I will agree with you - especially for the first 30 levels or so. It does get old having to stop and rest between battles at times.
  21. Hey Fulmens,

I'm down for this if you have any left. I need 100 million Freedom redside for my 100 million heroside.
  22. Nice job, all. Congrats!
  23. Very well done! I remember some time ago a designer did houses similar to that. Your keep reminds me of my temple.

I'll look you up soon and get that tour.
