One thing to point out about Soldiers and the Lore pets, is that Venom grenade's -res is 40% for toxic dmg and the arachnos lore pets have a lot of toxic attacks. Just something to think about......
-
you need to have the lore slot unlocked in order to see them in the tailor screen btw.
-
I would think there would be debuffs in the form of "aging" the targets.
-
Brax told me about what had happened and I'm glad he's on his way to recovery. I wish him well in the coming weeks and hope the best for him.
-
Another thing that really bothers me is that the color of the backpack won't match up with older costumes using the same color shade and can't ever seem to get them to match up.
-
Sigh...... they release a steampunk booster pack and we still don't have steampunk boots that match the original steampunk options that have been in the game for 7 years.....
/em facepalm -
I'm ok with the 10 seconds but only affecting 1 target seems like it's a bug. I can't imagine that part of the nerf is WAI. With it only affecting 1 target makes it weaker in Rain/patches than other AoEs.
If that was intentional I think it's an extremely poor decision. -
Just a note: Fire Melee isn't all fire dmg. Many of the attacks are split.
Fire Melee is the least to benefit from the change, but at the high end of dmg boosts the new FE far outperforms the old version. -
It could also be that you have one of the least active secondaries for MMs. I would make sure you are bubbling as many teammates as possible and using the AoE attacks as often as possible. It may be that your pets are doing so low damage numbers and you don't have enough personal attacks/debuffs for the system give you enough credit. Just a thought since other MMs players aren't having the same experience. They may be /dark or /TA and are getting more credit for heals or debuffs.

the nice thing about the incarnate system is that it's a "system". Even once the omega slot is released they can add more options to the existing slots. (more lore pets, more judgement powers ect). Once its a complete system and they drop new powersets or proliferate some, a slew of new toons will drop that will need to be run through that system once they reach 50.
It's not like once we get the Omega slot everyone will stop playing. This game has endured for a long time without a post 50 option and it can survive just fine once there isn't a post-omega slot option. -
Oh sorry I meant to say I do agree on the Hami raid having a incarnate table (maybe just common or 10 threads), since it's also a size limited raid. The mothership raid is a tough one since it doesn't have a reward table or is size limited (except zone limits).
-
I don't mind removing the inf costs for trading in threads to xp, but adding the new tables to existing content is a bad idea. The incarnate system is supposed to be the next lvl for character progression, and getting the rewards for doing TFs that aren't a challenge for incarnates doesn't make any sense.
The system is limited now because it's still a work in progress. If you look at AE now and compare it to when it was released, the options were much smaller. Imagine when you take a new toon through the system once all 10 slots are released and there are numerous raids to take part in.
They will give us more options you just have to give it time. -
Maybe the system won't support this kind of change. The team system is a core system and perhaps expanding the rewards across the league is huge coding change which may take quite some time to make work properly.
I agree that it should reward across the league, but once my server figured it out we have adapted and it really isn't a huge problem. Just make sure the league leader spreads dmg dealers evenly across the teams and have team leaders pick 2 from each team to take on adds, while the rest handles AVs.
One other piece of advice for the BAF AV battles is that if someone is up to 2 rings from the AV then they should switch over to adds until they lose aggro. -
One note about the lore pets that is very upsetting for my VEATs is that none of the +def from the support pets has positional components. They all use typed only

I'm inclined (through experience) to believe that participating at a certain lvl qualifies you for the top 3 tiers (uncommon, rare, VR) then it is random which of the 3 you get. The common tier seems to be from participating less but reserved for people who DC or have to afk unexpectedly, while the 10 threads is for leaches.

I fail to see what an alternative to the new endgame content would have been. Another "ITF" would have been more of the same. We did 4 raids last night and completed 2 of them. I like that you get rewards during the raid and not just for completing it. My Fort actually did fairly well. Yea I got hit more often than usual but I didn't faceplant constantly. At the moment the way to progress is pretty narrow, but we already know they will roll out more trials (some larger some smaller). I even like the concept behind the "raids" being repeated. We tried to raid Lambda Sector and failed but we can always try again another day.
IMHO I think this is a great evolution for the endgame. -
Demons are light years ahead of bots in ST dmg, but bots edge them out in AoE and tend to be a bit sturdier being they stay at range. One of the main reason i would go demons/dark over bots/traps is that demons tend to keep enemies bunched together with the slows from the prince and no Knockback. The Prince and Ember demon are 2 of the most end intensive pets out there and require a descent amount of end redux, the only bot that has this problem is the protector and 33% end redux usually fixes these problems.
Both are very solid builds with very different playstyles. I would build both eventually and go demons/dark first. -
The reason why Stateman didn't simply clean up a whole city in one day is the same reason the authorities don't....... knowledge of where all the crime and criminals are, and the law allowing them to do so!!! It's not like we know where all the crime bosses are and lack the power to go get them, we either don't know where they are or they can't legally arrest them.
You know where a Rikti ship is and there aren't defense lawyers asking "Did you read these invading aliens their rights or identify yourself as a officer of the law?"
Oh I'm sure when States first showed up he made a big cut into crime, but then the criminals knowing he was around adapted how they did things to be more successful and out of his reach. -
I will back up the others in saying that none of my lvl shifted toons have any KD powers becoming KB on lvl 50 enemies.
-
I just noticed this change myself, but what irritated me about it was that they did this but didn't fix the "Death Rattle" mission enemies capping at 29 on a TF that runs at 30!!!

Gratz on having to pack up 1/2 the house to go the grocery store, and gratz on "what a nice smell you've discovered", but for real Congratz on the new addition to your family!!

Quote:I'm trying to figure out how you got I didn't know about changes from my post. I stated in the post that it can only effect 5 targets "at once" which was a new burn change. If the front loaded first tic kills it's 5 targets the DoT tics will pick 5 new target therefore it affect 10 targets total. I never said it spreads it's damage equally among it's targets. I just didn't want those who didn't know to think that burn could only damage 5 targets total, regardless of how its spread out.Nope, Burn has been changed. Nowdays there's an initial burst of damage which does 2/3s to 3/4s of the damage (I think) and then the ticks.
So since the initial burst is limited to 5 targets too the damage doesn't spread out as well as it used to. On the upside the new version is better at working with Fury as the old version used to lose its Fury damage boost 2 seconds in due to the way Pseudopets inherit buffs. -
Just a small note about burn. It's max # of targets is 5 at one time. It can easily deal dmg to 10+ targets because as targets die the tics can start to effect new targets. Granted it won't do it's full dmg to more than 5 targets, but saying it has a 5 target max is a little misleading.
-
Just a quick note. I think Shield Charge is a bad power to compare Scrapper Vs. Brute since it can't take advantage of the brute's higher dmg cap. I know that doesn't justify it being so much better for scrappers than for brutes, but it's just because that is what the coding supports and the decision that was made.
