Arachnos Soldier and Lore pets?

I was just wondering what Lore pet did you get with your Arachnos Soldier. I am starting to work on my Huntsman for incarnates and was wondering since the new Lore pets came out, what did you pick?

I went with the IDF on my crab. He was my 4th Incarnate, so I chose the only pets I hadn't chosen yet.

If I ever decide to get different pets I will probably go with Arachnos for more spiders. I love running around with my 5 spiders!

I picked Arachnos. If you're picking for power, though, I'm pretty sure Warworks is still on top.

Weight training: Because you'll never hear someone lament "If only I were weaker, I could have saved them."

My Crab is taking Arachnos (switching from Clockwork).

My Fortunata is taking Seers (I considered Radial Arachnos, but decided I prefer the look of the seers).

My Bane and Night Widow, I'm not sure. The Bane may take Arachnos too, but I like to vary what I take so may pick something else. Haven't given any real thought to the Widow yet.

actually cimerorans beat out warworks but only slightly, they are both fairly even

as to the OP my VEATs will prolly go with arachnos for thematic reasons

Like others have mentioned I'll be going with Arachnos for theme reasons. Fear my Arachnos Assault Squad.

Someone should make a VEAT and get Longbow pets. And, ya know, still use their Arachnos costume.

One thing to point out about Soldiers and the Lore pets, is that Venom grenade's -res is 40% for toxic dmg and the arachnos lore pets have a lot of toxic attacks. Just something to think about......

Level 50s: to many to remember at this point

I went with robotic drones. No real reason other than the looks.

Just got my Arachnos Superior Core Allies last night, my spider army is now complete! (Oh, and I love it!)

How do you find they perform in Incarnate trials? Do the pets (spiderlings and Disruptors) bite the dust quickly? I ask because I'm going a bit out of my way to get perma pets (Spiritual instead of Musc or perhaps Cardiac), so I want to make sure it's worth it!

I also got the Arachnos Superior Core on my bane. The Lore pets with the Call Reinforcements and Summon Blaster (mace Mastery) works amazing on the Choke Points in a BAF.

In Keyes, the spiderlings and disruptors aren't worth pulling out (IMHO) until the AV fight. The pulse will kill them, and they run all willy-nilly.

In Lamba they are fine for the street sweep and AV phase, but the acid/nade rooms they tend to go willy-nilly again and they end up fighting stuff you don't care about.

In BAF they are awesome *all* the time, from extra damage to AVs to clogging choke points in the prisoner escape.

I keep them alive using Barrier (and I run 2x asslt, tactics, manuevers), and generally don't have a problem with them dyingall that often. I use the LORE pets against the AVs in Keyes and Lamba, and during the escapee phase of BAF, they are welcomed DPS/crowd control.

I have the spiderlings well beyond permanent, and the disruptors about 5 seconds from perma on my build. In normal PVE content (including ITFs and the like) I pull them out all the time and never worry about them dying.

Hey me too. I thought I was being unique .
It is a shame they don't hover around your head though.

Thanks for this info. What alpha are you using? Do you use the PPP pet at all? If so, which one? Thanks

I don't use the PPP pet on this character, and I use Cardiac alpha to keep my end costs in check.

I have exactly 1 single target attack, but it is recharged before I can use it again, so it is an attack chain if I need it to be. With soft capped range/aoe and melee in the high 30's I very rarely worry about faceplanting.

My Crab does that. I have a Hero Crab though who is trying to promote Unity by having both Arachnos and Longbow Pets!

Of course that is about to change as I have almost T4d Cimerorans and they are almost 50% more powerful than the second strongest pet, I can't let that slide!

All this is making me want to do an alt build that is super pet heavy.

... is it bad that I read that as 'heavy petting'? ...
