1. Costume pieces that I don't have to pay for. Some of the boosters are great but it seems like everything we get now is part of a booster pack.
2. New AT. Something like Melee/Debuff, Assault/Defense or something new.
3. 20+ content for Praetorian, and some TFs too. -
It is fine where it is but I like it better in GC, that is where I put it in my Kat/SR.
-
two things stand out to me with just looking at it real quick.
You have too many Luck of The Gambler +recharge Speed. Only the first 5 will do anything so the sixth one is doing nothing for you.
As for Hecatomb you really shouldn't slot all six of them because it goes so far into ED and the last bonus doesn't help either. You can skip the Damage or the Damage/Recharge depending on the build. Like with your build I might take out the Damage and put in a Crushing Impact Damage/Endurance.
Other then that it looks pretty good. -
It is always on, I have it slotted in One with the Shield.
-
While I don't really need more costume slots. I know other people would love to have more.

Quote:This^^Regardless of how well he expresses himself, I agree with JoshexDirad. We have all these invention sets for various aspects. We have 'uncommon (yellow)', 'rare (orange)', 'very rare (purple)', and 'pvp' invention set categories. Why shouldn't we have at least one set of each category for each aspect. Give me a purple Accurate Defense Debuff set. Let me see a PvP Pet Damage set. Where's the purple Sniper set?
I still don't know why Sleep and Confuse have purple sets and why Defense and Resistance don't. -
How about we see what the Incarnate system brings before we ask for a raise in the level cap? From what it looks like it kinda is like raising the level cap. The Rare and Very Rare boosts in the Alpha slot applies a level shift so maybe other slots will too.

Well I hate Praetoria too...
But the whole double XP thing is not a good ideal. -
Quote:Honestly I don't see the need for 2 Ranged blasts for a Scrapper, even running a LGTF. I also run all Scrapper LGTF and still don't see the need for them.Something to be said, for having 2 Ranged blasts when running a LGTF.
I'll admit, I just don't like the attack at all it has a long cast time, 2 sec , and I just don't like the look of it. It was easy for me to skip and I haven't look back. I can't even think about skipping QS or BB I like them too much. -
Of the three SS/Fire would be the best.
I personally would go with a Claws/Fire brute. -
Here is the recharge needed.
Cs: 204%
sb: 195%
bb: 100%
qs: 0% -
Well the next one on my list to skip is Focused Burst. With taking the fire Ancillary you don't need it because you can take Fire blast for a range attack.
-
You can only have one at a time slotted. You can switch between them but there is a 5 minute cool down.

My favorite duo is a Fire/Shield Scrapper and a Fire/Cold Corruptor. They do great damage and Cold as some great debuffs. Cold gives the Scrapper +defense which will put them close if not over the soft cap. It is a great duo and a lot of fun.

Quote:Today I and 8 other people at Paragon Studios were let go as part of restructuring. I was completely shocked by this. It's the first time I've ever lost a job outside of the whole studio collapsing. I've never been basically told we no longer need you here. Looking back over the past few years, I have an amazing amount of memories revolving around City of Heroes, Cryptic Studios, and Paragon. I'd like to share some of them. -

I know, I should of said I think you're using Wikia because Wiki says they can't.

I think you might be using the wrong wiki

lets see
Head Splitter does 187 damage with 95% damage it would be 364
Disembowel does 134 damage with 95% damage it would be 262
So Golden Dragonfly would need to do around 364. It does 164.04 so it would take around 122% + damage, which would make it 365. Assuming you have 95% in your attack it would take about 27% +damage.
Soaring Dragon would need to do around 262. It does 123 so it would take 115% +damage. which would make it 264. Assuming you have 95% in your attack it would take 20% +damage.
I took the number out of mids so they might be off just a little. With these two attacks you need to have about 27% +damage to match BS.
If my numbers are wrong someone please tell me. -
Yup, just buy the complete collection and make sure you apply it to your trial account.
-
Yes you will need to buy City of Heroes/Villain first. You can buy them all with the Complete Collection .

Quote:ahh...Didn't think about that. Well at least it's not that big of a deal. I need to start thinking about stuff like that now.Looks good, the only thing I might suggest is if you were interested, you could drop Conserve Power down to 1 slot, even if you're not going spiritual (even though 2 slotted hasten suggests you might be) you can sacrifice 24s on it's recharge to slot 1 Res IO or 1 Heal IO into OWTS to squeeze some extra performance out of that ability.
Otherwise, looks very good. -
Quote:Yup the best attack chain for DB is BF>AS>SS>AS. It takes a lot of recharge but it can put out some crazy DPS. The next(I think) is BF>AV combo, it's not as good but it is still good DPS. What it comes down to is Sweeping Strike is just that good of an attack, and having BF to give it more damage makes it better. There's four combos, two of which are bad and two of which are good, so I guess they balance each other out. I honestly didn't find the set lacking before I got into the combos, and I have heard tell that the top performers with DB don't use combos, so make of that what you will.
