  1. I second Mandu's suggestions. If you do end up calling the cable company, request an online gaming knowledgeable tech (*cough cough* a gamer!) to assist you. I went through two customer service agents at Comcast before getting a fellow gamer who acknowledged just how important a 100% reliable, steady connection is. The average internet user doesn't care if they lose tons of packets (they don't even know the difference!) but a gamer can tell. They finally sent out a young man who looked like he had just gotten off a weekend Counterstrike/Gears of War/Battlefield bender who figured out exactly what was going on (modem was not powerful enough to handle our internet speeds and kept choking and dropping packets, and also the T connection INSIDE THE WALL was failing).

    R.I.P. Muad_Dib

Expect to get your post modded, FXmas. Z modded the OP and comments on Muad's death and requested us not to discuss it.

RIP Muad. Never met you, only knew you in passing on the forums and a couple times in a global channel, but no one deserves that. Best to his family and friends.
  3. I was told I'd get a token on or around the 28th also, but I got a token sometime in the last three days. This is neither on or around the 28th (IMO five days is not "around"), nor is it on my veteran date (27th).

This is just getting more and more confusing. Please. PLEASE. Devs. PLEASE! Just use the server transfer token script to award everyone's VIP perks. It works. Everyone was properly granted their server transfer the last two times it was run. Why complicate things!

A caster-affecting or target-affecting proc slotted in an auto power will be always on since it is a 100% "chance" to fire every 10 seconds.

I only concluded it wasn't the case after my discussion with the Game Support.
This is definitely the case. According to your list, I had the following at launch:

1 token for owning a box set
    1 token for September
    5 tokens for yearly sub
    20 tokens for 20 badges
    = 27 tokens

However, I had one more token than that. I actually had 28 tokens at Head Start. Having not bought points yet, it can't be that. Therefore, the only way for me to have had 28 tokens at Head Start is that *EVERY* account is granted a reward token.

My second account, subbed for a few months a couple years ago, has three tokens: 1 for box set, 1 for 1 vet badge. My third account, started in August with the $1.99 sale, has three tokens: 1 for box set, 1 for September. Both of them mysteriously have an extra token, so the only way that would be possible is if every account is granted a reward token.

I was granted token #29 sometime in the last three days (I haven't logged in in a few days; assuming yesterday the 23rd) on my main account, several days in advance of both the GM-stated grant day (28th) and my veteran award date (27th).
  6. You'll see a huge difference between the HD4200 and the 6150SE. The 6150SE is like six generations old and the bottom of the barrel for non-Intel graphics cards, integrated or not. The HD4200 is only two generations old, and while on the low end, blows the 6150SE totally out of the water.

I just loaded a build from in-game into Mids through Sentinel's export feature with no issue. Check your Sentinel details (Help > About); 0.9.4e is the current program version. My manifest and game client versions match (2120.201110150045.1).
  8. If one of the sets is Time Manipulation, some of the powers there are bugged to affect the caster, and most of the enemy-effecting powers have -movement or -running in them. This is fixed internally, awaiting the next release.

    Hiing ally buffs

There is currently no way to do this.
  10. You need to do the very first arc (Kuzmin?) in order to do any of the others.
  11. You can't. Once you've paid your account, you've paid your account, whether you log in or not (whether you CAN log in or not).

I love that building. Much better than the giant block of crap that was there before, with mission doors in the middle of the back side and more mission doors in the buildings behind the middle of the back side. And all of the contacts on the front side.

At PAX when they showed that picture, the ENTIRE ROOM cheered.
  13. Trusting/Arriviste are not alignment-locked.
  14. It doesn't work in Beta, so it'll be going away soon.
  15. Until Paragon does something about it themselves, you can use the player-provided cursors:

A ways down the thread (here and here) Ruff has assembled some high-contrast, bigger pointers.

It would put pressure on the launcher folks because they would have to redo the launcher to have it tell the game when a major patch has occurred. Which I don't have a lot of faith in the launcher devs.
  17. Howdy! As an admin for Paragon Wiki (a part of the Titan Network, which CIT is also a part of) and a mod for the Titan Network forums, I can assure you that everything Titan releases is guaranteed to not do anything to your computer that it doesn't say on the tin. We're not evil, here

I recommend checking out all the links in my signature, plus also Titan Sentinel:
    http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel/
Which will allow you to send information from the game to CIT.

Roswell, I've been in the same situation. The big grated entrance gate should let you out. Or the side door to the Abandoned Sewers. I don't recall which one. I believe I tried them both when the same happened to me, but it did spit me back out where I was previously.
/leaveteam definitely should. It will force you to leave your team (of one) and remove you from your instance (the chain of trial maps).

/requestexitmission 1 may not work since the 'exit' button doesn't exist if you've not completed the trial.
  19. There is no AE license. The only way to get rewards in AE is to complete Tier 4 Paragon Rewards or to be VIP.

  20. I'd like it the way WoW does it: major patches require re-acceptance. (So our little patch last week that was simply bugfixing wouldn't have triggered a re-acceptance, but the I21.5 patch will since it's so big and so much stuff is changing.)

HOWEVER...that puts a lot of pressure on the launcher development team which seems to be lacking in efficiency and know-how. (The launcher development team, btw, is NCsoft, not Paragon. So I'm not ragging on Paragon this time around! )

    *or*

  22. If you are at 10/10 alignment points, you can still get a Morality Mission even if you are at maximum fame. You're just unlucky.
  23. By design. Boosted enhancements cannot be traded in any fashion. They cannot even be mailed to yourself through @email.

Please note that this is quite unlikely to be deliberate marketing by City's or NCsoft's marketing department, but instead was requested by a cast member or crew member on BBT to use it on set and Paragon/NCsoft shrugged and said why not.

IIRC a redname came out and actually CONFIRMED that with the Chuck CoV display, that it was not NCsoft putting their stuff out there deliberately for marketing display.
