So if I do a search for lets say a tank and I look at all of the levels that work for a TF and there are a total of 3 being played that aren't level 50 then that has nothing to do with Incarnates? Can you form a team? Yes, but it requires work of various levels and certainly more effort than when Incarnates hit. Has the pool of players been diluted due to Incarnates? Hell yes. I'm on a private channel that sees more activity on it than all of my other channels combined. This considering I have channels for Freedom and Virtue. If you post on that channel about doing something outside of trials, you pretty much don't exist.

If you are level 22 and have SOs in the build, this should not be an issue unless you poorly slotted the build, or you are running on a higher diff setting in terms of x# sized mobs than what you should.
/sr gets a lot of flak leveling up, but to be honest I really haven't felt the same. I got two in their 30s and one at 50. /sr has felt rock solid to me for the vast majority of the ride. Maybe 1-11 it felt almost not there, but once I DOs things rather improved. The difference between /sr and other sets at 22 with SOs is minor in my book. -
You assumed they tried to solo an AV that is heavily resisted to their damage type?

Quote:Fixed. To be fair to CoX all games either fall immediately after release or begin a steady decline
Yep. Buy the box and then buy expansion packs if you want to. They also charge for various extras. -
I'm partly surprised this isn't on CW due to the vibe I was getting from it. It will be interesting to see if it sticks.

I guess I should have known by now somebody like Iggy would have posted a /regen build that is soft capped to S/L. Price range is listed as not too bad, so it would at least be worth taking a look at.

Quote:Post the build so people can take a look at it. MA offers no help in terms of def like BS, or Kat do, so you are likely looking to max out around 20-30+% for def and that might be for just smashing and lethal.i looked around and even tried to make a build for my MA/regen scrapper on mids but am just not good at it.Ive seen people talk about making their biuld with almost capped defense and stuff but when i tried i only got it to 10%.Could someone help me out on making a good build?

Quote:That's the beautiful thing about Ragnorak and Norse Mythology... everything is destroyed and the world restarts and it just so happened that the end of ragnorak ended with a setting similar to genesis so they just said that Norse myth is a prequel... but theoretically any religion could fit that position with Norse.

I'm going to guess it's based on Spines being more of a AoE set as where Claws has an actual ST attack chain, but less AoE. One thing to note in Focus vs. Impale, Focus also animates much quicker(1.17 vs. 2.43). I think Claws and DB are a better comparison like Kat and BS are, but they have their own distinctness like Claws vs. Spines does as well.

Quote:Anybody who thinks this is what Christians believe is way wrong, or is getting it from a branch of the Christian church that is a wee bit on the liberal side.Norse mythology is actually fully accepted in christian mythology. They merged a long time ago and is forgotten now, but Norse mythology according to the integrated mythology happens before genesis. They pulled that off because Ragnorak ends with the death of the gods and 2 humans under yggdrasil where as Genesis pretty much begins with a single god left (obviously there would have had to be one to tell the story of Ragnorak) and 2 humans in the garden of eden where the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was. Satan would have been created at this point after Ragnorak...

So when does Fox get renamed Seth? I know there are masses who love him, but any time I have watched anything he does I find incredibly boring and showing somebody who is trying way too hard. The amount that is funny really doesn't justify the number of shows he does, nor the hype he gets for it.

Quote:Meet ED.ive also found that more than 3 of any particular type of enhancement in a power (usinf hero builder) that u get quickly diminishing returns. rather than putting say, 5 or 6 heal enhancements in a power, ill do 3, get most of the bonus possible, and then put attack speed enhances in it for the last 3.

I simply don't foresee a superhero MMO beating CoH unless Paragon makes it. Paragon's big fear would be another massively popular MMO to hit that isn't a superhero one and people finally grow tired of CoH and want something new for a change. Even the MMO that doesn't need to be named that I am looking forward to doesn't have the community like here and to be honest I'm tempted to stick around just because CoH feels like a well worn pair of jeans. Even if the other game has newer jeans, it doesn't mean they will be as comfortable.

Ask this in the tech issues forum as it's a way better place to ask it. My guess is it could be run, but on low settings.

Maybe you should think about your Caps Lock key. Like I said, it was a quick look and I personally would rather have the extra damage. The fact that they can Hover and have tohit debuffs can counter the loss in ranged def.

Quote:In short, there are tons of references throughout the game. Jack was a history buff so the game has numerous references he put in. This says nothing of all of the stuff other people added. The names of the detectives for radio mission contacts is one of the more humorous and obvious ones for anybody of certain age.Well this isn't anything the Dev's haven't done in one area or another throughout the game...
"These speakers go to 11" .. Not so veiled reference to the movie Spinal Tap
The references to Penelope Pitstop in the Penelope Yin Arc in Faultline.
Many of the zones in Dark Astoria being associated with film maker George Romero.. including Romero Hieghts LOL
So some Dev likes the series and modeled the underground bases on it's underground bases. -
Pole/staff melee is known to be on the whiteboard. What that means in terms of how soon we see it is unknown. My guess is not Soon(tm). I think that's the only new forthcoming set that we know of.

I read "for casual play" as being something you won't invest as much into influ/infamy wise. If that's the case, the tank will give you a better return. Even if a WP character can take Taunt, I prefer to tank with builds that have a stronger taunt aura. Many WP characters handle taunting issues just fine. It's just my own little preference. I was suppose to roll a SS/sd when we could side switch. I made a tank version to test out until then. The tank sat doormat until recently. I got it up to 17 last night and see no need to make a brute version since I'm having enough fun as is.

Quote:I just did a quick scan, but I will say slot T.T. and NF for damage versus secondary effects like immobilization and tohit debuff. Both powers are nice for damage procs(certainly T.T.) as you have done, but add in damage on top of that. NF does respectable damage so slot for it.Im building this toon for my wife, not all that easy as ive never played a 'fender but here are two builds, the first has range and s/l defense, the second just range but has Thunderstrike so if she gets in trouble she can use that along with dark pit for a total of mag 4 stun. This is intended as a fairly budget build atm as she is just getting back into the game after a sabbatical.

Is Stone/fire the best? Maybe. Will it work? Yes. I would rather you play something that is deemed fun for you, hence something you have already rolled, versus telling you what min/max build would be "the best" and in the end you don't like it as much. One of the tanks that I'm using as a main tank on a server is an Ice tank. Ice tanks are the red headed step child of the IO world for min/maxing tanks. Whatever. I'm having fun with it and it seems good to me. Good enough I'm rolling another one so I can do Ice/kin and focus on putting -dmg in a build. Do I have a pick as what one build I would use for end game content? Sure. I even have one. It's also my lowest level tank. I doubt it will see much action due to how much I liking my level 17 SD/ss that's on the same server and I've hardly gotten to the fun powers yet.
The best build for end game content is the one you have the most fun playing. [/thread]. -
Grav, Ill, Plant, and Mind I think will all play well with /traps.
