That actually looks pretty good. Has a very Supernatural vibe to it.
I saw ABC's upfronts, and every single one of them have "Canceled" stamped all over them. The Tim Allen show will probably hang on just because of his contract, but I doubt any of them will last on their merits. More like lack of suitable replacements.

I'll see about Grimm... seems a little similar to a lot of stuff out there right now. I'm watching Buffy right now with my wife, so I might just be burnt out on this whole approach right now. Or that there's that one movie coming out with a detective that does the same kind of thing as this show... and this guy looks a lot like Brandon Routh, too (can't remember the movie name right now).
I also really wish they did not put this in Portland, too. Way too Stephanie Meyerish for that. Blech.

That 'preview' gave away the entire episode, it seems.
I think there might be possibilities with this show; there's certainly a lot of fairy tale material that can be adapted. It remains to be seen how good the writing actually is throughout, rather than quick snippets.

This seems like ABC's upcoming Once Upon a Time, but a bit different.
Regardless I don't trust ABC or NBC to keep either show past season 1. I've long past stopped trusting either network to support fantasy/sci-fi type shows.
BOTH shows would probably last longer on something like the CW.
EDIT: Annnnnd, just read that NBC is debuting it on Fridays. Fail.
