  1. Make sure you have the Bloodletter badge. If you don't, you need to do more of his missions. If not, I have no idea.
  2. Perez Park is a red dot on the side of the map for Atlas Park, Galaxy City, Skyway City, and Steel Canyon.

    Water Spout?

    1. IIRC, every ten seconds, if it is knocking something back, that critter will be checked against. NOTE: I'm not 100% certain, I could be totally mistaken.
    2. Yes, but pets are no longer affected by +recharge buffs.
    3. no idea o.o
  4. The Yellow Line is a train/tram/monorail. The Yellow Line is marked on the map as a white circle with a blue T on it.

Don't you need quotes around coh to make the -project flag work?

    [/ QUOTE ]

No. If quotes are around anything else then it won't work.

    One of mine for example:

    "E:\City of Heroes\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project coh -maxinactivefps 5 -maxfps 25

    [/ QUOTE ]Please note that

    "C:\CoH\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project "coh"

works on my machine. So it DOES work.

I trust you told him how to get out of Pocket D.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes, because it's so hard to figure out what those "exit to <zone>" markers on the map are.... I don't see helping willful ignorance. If someone isn't willing to do the minimal work needed to figure out the basics of the game themselves, I say let them flounder...

[/ QUOTE ]You don't have to hand-feed them and lead them to the exit and tell them to click this and click that. You can say "open your map and look for the green dots that point to [hero/villain (as appropriate)] zones".
  7. None of my kins have a travel power. Some of them have, for instance, Hover or Combat Jumping, but no actual travel power.
  8. Users from Brazil must purchase items from a special website, but I don't know the link off the top of my head and I'm not getting (useful) hits in the search function (but that may be because it's very late ).
  9. It's a widespread question so most people don't care to elaborate. Most people know what it means. The farmers/challenge-makers get their answers (yes or no or silence) and that's all that matters to them.
  10. You join their team. They enter their mission (you don't; you don't even have to be in the same zone, or a viable level range). They map the mission (spawn all the dudes). You quit or are kicked. They enjoy their mission that is spawned for more than their team makeup.

Even still, it's as Attache pointed out, that's two out of nine attacks. It's an exception to the rules, not a precedent. And either way, I'll say it again: Guns are inherently a ranged weapon, and scrappers are melee.

[/ QUOTE ]I never said I was for or against melee pistols in that post. I was merely pointing out Attache's mistake. That's why I ONLY responded to the mistake, and not to the general theme of the post.

(For the record, I am against pistol scrappers/etc)

The purpose of a Darwin Award is to honor someone who got killed because of natural selection. It's commonly misinterpreted to mean something it isn't. Natural selection says that favorable traits are passed on. Stupidity is not a favorable trait, and if you're so stupid you got killed, you got Darwin'd.

[/ QUOTE ]Technically, Darwin Awards are to honor someone who removes themselves from the gene pool, so that they don't pass on their idiocy.

You don't need to have died, but if you lived, you need to have become sterile or gone vegetative. It's the "can't pass on your genes" part that is most important, not death.

... Claws already has ranged attacks in it. ...

[/ QUOTE ]Unless your definition of "attack" includes Confront for some inexplicable reason, the plural does not fit in your description of claws. ...

[/ QUOTE ]Point of contention: Focus and Shockwave are both ranged. One is single-target (40ft.) and one is a cone (30ft.).
  14. Go to the support center and submit a support ticket. There are account bugs of various types going around recently.

It won't let me vote, so I'll throw my vote here: In light of the fact that no bugs are seriously cramping my play, I would prefer more content.

Also, petitions (which this is a thinly veiled one) are not allowed on the forums.
  16. It's a bug with binds. The game changes <> to their HTML equivalents and then prints that instead of using the actual symbols.
  17. Correct. Generally referring to the fact that they are utilizing the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the post, so ignore what's in the "Re:" box in the subject line.

Personally I actually like the Rikti invasions. I've been hoping we'd have more invasion weeks. I kinda miss them.

[/ QUOTE ]I kinda miss a schedule of events. No invasions, no double XP... will there even be a Halloween event this year?

[/ QUOTE ]We had Winter Event and Valentine's, so I don't see why we would skip the other 'official' holiday events.
  21. However, she can buy a GAME CARD ($20, one month of play, 30 days of fly pack) and be good to go.

She just can't get a TIME CARD ($15, 30 days of play; $30, 60 days of play, $45, 90 days of play) and expect to continue playing.

She needs an actual retail code. The GAME CARDS contain a retail code (and so do all the box sets). TIME CARDS do not contain a retail code, they just add time.

  22. And some lack certain attack typings. For instance, most Mind Control powers don't have a positional flag.
