Fix the bugs? or continue making new content? Vote
You might want to clarify what bugs you are talking about that have been around for 4 1/2 years and how fixing them might be more important than creating new content.
I vote for new content and bug fix's.
I'll vote for Base Raids and CoP before new content. There are still items promoting Base raids in my base and I can't even use them. They are just existing for... I don't know what?
If both fixing and creating content can be balanced equally, I'd approve of this.
No option for both to be worked on at once.. heh. That would make the decision to easy.
@Blackavaar
Didn't say there are bugs that are around for 4 yrs, just that I've been playin that long.... But now that you mention it, I think the "location" text beside team members names have been bugged for years. You know the one. Your standing outside a mish door waitin for people to show up, and the location text says their in their SG Base. Then the leader says, "where are you" we're waiting inside....
I'm not tryin to make this into a dev bashin thread... I think they do a great job, and I've enjoyed the game very much, thus still active for over 4 1/2 yrs givin 'em my hard earned cash!
Was just wondering if other people thought it was time to fix some ongoing bugs.
It won't let me vote, so I'll throw my vote here: In light of the fact that no bugs are seriously cramping my play, I would prefer more content.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

Also, petitions (which this is a thinly veiled one) are not allowed on the forums.

Honestly, I've never seen an MMO forum where people aren't saying this.
It happens, code isn't perfect, programmers aren't perfect, no game is perfect. There are far worse bugs that persist in everquest for its entire longevity than I've seen in COH.
Also, in game development the content development teams are often separate from the debug and coding teams and usually have nothing to do with one another as far as priority of implementation goes; so both can easily be done and usually is.

Imagine...
Imagine having programmers, a whole team of them.... some creating new content, others tracking down bugs.
Imagine project management, team meetings, and tracking systems...
Imagine them being able to do *both* at once.
Then look at Paragon Studios, and realize *that's precisely what they're doing.*
People have been debating whether our Devs should concentrate more on content or bugs for roughly 5 years now. If this game lasts for another 5 years they will likely still be debating the same exact thing.
Now, while I'm sure you had the best of intentions with starting this thread I'd simply suggest you think about what I just said and realize just how completely pointless this 'question' really is.

Yes, but he sang it to the tune of John Lennon's Imagine. That's style.

Then I retract my vote. Information on this not being a win/win situation was late. I vote nothing. Let them continue with the view they currently have. I'll move to a new MMORPG when I start to dislike where this game is headed. As of right now I enjoy it to it's fullest.

Just a quick poll to see others opinion of these issues in the game. Over 4 1/2 yrs played and the bugs that continue are starting to "bug" me a lil... heh. Thanks

Two things. First off, what good do you think this is going to accomplish? Second, they do fix bugs AND put out new content. It's not an either/or thing. It'd help if you'd be more specific on what bugs you are talking about, too.
Bottom line is that there will always be bugs. Stopping all content until the game is bug free means there will never be new content ever again.

The "poll" wasn't a "thinly veiled" ANYTHING. No petition, no direction, no misdirection, nothin behind the curtain. Just a question to satisfy my own curiosity on the subject.
NVM, I removed the poll and I appreciate those that gave constructive input.
Thanks for your time
