There's a bug note on the wiki page, saying you may lose it when you log out, regardless of time passed, but it's from quite a while ago so I don't know if it is still bugged.
-
I've used it to make previous RPG characters, but nothing I've done recently. I never take those chars in-game either, I just futz in the creator.

Quote:AE's badges are awarded for in-game actions (clicking/killing/saving, etc), which in turn flags the account globally.I get the impression that having an in game event give a global badge is relatively new "tech" and wasn't available before it was introduced for AE. That being said, if I remember right, Posi had said he was looking into changing the anniversary badges but I don't think anything more has been said about it.
The anniversary badges function more like veteran rewards - there's a flag that trips.
--For veteran rewards, this flag trips when the account reaches X time elapsed.
--Anniversary badges are currently flagged to only trip if you log in a character during X time. They can be changed to trip if ANY character logs in during X time.
----This can be changed retroactively, as evidenced by the AE badge changes (several badges were introduced as character badges and were then changed to account badges - logging a character in with the character badge trips the account badge flag)
<standard code rant>
I'd really like to see anniversary badges account-based. -
Quote:Fairly sure the OP means the goodies (the "new" and "icons").Or just use the address of one of the current ones, since they're at imageshack already.

There are A LOT of ways to get Entrusted with the Secret.

This is correct. The card on file is used for respec/slot/etc purchases within the in-game store window. NCsoft store does not save any information in regards to purchases. (Probably a good thing.)

If you're 45+, you can do all four arcs in a row. They are actually 40-50 and 45-50.

Quote:It would be funny, except you can only carry 10 enhancements, so most of his slotted DOs and SOs would be sold for full price during the respec, unless he had only slotted 10 or fewer enhancements.I think this would be hilarious. I can already see some idiot changing his Origin and then has to sell all of his DO's and SO's for a fraction of what he spent on them because they no longer match his Origin. Then he comes here to complain about it.

It did not bill you (check your bank, you'll see), it put your card on file. When your free time is up, your card will be billed. If you remove your card, you will not be billed when your free time is up.
I've done this before on my second account. It did NOT bill me until my free time was up. -
http://www.cohplanner.com Mids can assist you with these questions.
Comparing for defenders (since you don't specify an AT), numbers will be smaller for most other ATs:
CJ: 2.5% defense no matter what
Stealth: 5% when not suppressed, 2.5% when suppressed
Outcome: Equal when stealth is suppressed -
I'm sure they'll fix 'em when Going Rogue comes out, since that completely alters how the game renders things. They should have updated the specs when CoV came out, and again when they did the graphics overhaul a while back (I10? I forget). Both times the minimum and recommended specs should have increased. Of course, Cryptic/NCsoft/Paragon Studios/City doesn't really have the best reputation for keeping manuals, knowledge bases, etc., updated. Hell, the knowledge base still says we have daily maintenance windows, with server downtime on Mons and Fris.

So indignant you had to post it twice!! Now that's nerd rage!

I have these binds. I've got them on three keys. Key is "small insps" combine into "small blue". Shift+Key is "medium insps" combine into "medium blue". Alt+Key is "big insps"combine into "big blue".
I also have three other keys for purples.
I left out break frees (and their bigger parts) and wakens (and their bigger parts) because they're so rare, I just delete them if I need space or manually combine if I have enough. -
Just for future note, this (Player Questions) is a forum for players to ask questions of other players. Posting here in an attempt to talk to the devs doesn't really work. If you want the devs to know something, post in a relevant dev thread, or PM them.

Leveling pacts have always been capable of breaking.

Really minor (really really minor) spelling nitpick Frost, you put "Cenues" instead of "Venues" in the low-attendance headline on the right.
Otherwise, that is freaking AWESOME. -
This is totally not correct because my level 50 corruptor and my level 45 brute and my level 41 MM all were that level before Ashley McKnight was in the game. They have done the arc, and none of them have even touched an Ouro crystal. I don't think my brute and MM have even done the Ouro intro arc.

Devs turn off their PMs from time to time when they're trying to get stuff done but too many players are pestering them for information, taking away time from getting stuff done. Obviously at the moment, BABs has way more important things to do than answer PMs. Going Rogue doesn't make itself!
Don't jump to conclusions. Get your exercise the regular way. -
... you can already do that. Push printscreen, open a graphics program, paste. Save image. Voila.

Quote:I get "what does that mean" and "I speak <language>, good choice/bad translation" a time or two during each character's life if I use an unfamiliar foreign word/phrase (obviously, I don't get comments if I use "uber" or something else that's been adopted into the melting-pot of languages that is English). No one, not a single person, has ever asked "Hey, what's that crazy looking word mean?" or said "I speak <language of your current character name>. Interesting choice!", or even "I speak <language of your current character name>, and you should fire your translator because that's actually an obscenity."
Heck, I've even got forum PMs about my name (Aggelakis), which is based on a Greek word (and is a Greek surname). -
Sweetie, you realize this is for the feed listed in the OP of the thread and not the official forum-based digests? The feed in the OP hasn't been updated since adding David Nakayama.

Quote:Please note that this is incorrect. You can see the comments if you click the little "scales" symbol on your own posts. It will pop up with a message, listing comments and their rep value if the post has any, or saying the post hasn't been repped yet. It will also say your current rep value (not the value of your rep at the time of the comment, just your current value). No, you can't. Not any more, not after they hid rep comments. Now you never see the comments, so there's never anything to report. Which makes the feature EVEN MORE POINTLESS.
You can report rep comments by reporting your own post that was repped, and telling the mods to look at the rep comments. They are anonymous to the users, but they are decidedly NOT anonymous to the mods. They can - and have - punished users for leaving hostile rep.
