D_R's Farewell Video: "One Last Day"

i think i got something in my eye while watching that.

Amazing.

Include me in with the group that managed to get something in their eye while watching this video.

Hubby and I both broke down, especially at the end. Haven't played in 3 weeks...thought I was "over" the game that I had been playing for 7 years, that I was "over it" and moving on. Guess I'm really not. The hurt suddenly feels as fresh as it did the day the announcement was made.

I have to say though, that the Longbow liftoff scene was awesome and made me laugh.

Michelle....I couldn't type this post until I stopped sobbing. You have a wonderful and special heart, and the talent/ability to 'see' feelings. Thank you for all your hard work and wonderful videos. God, I am going to miss this wonderful place, my firends and a big part of my life for eight years.

Thank you so much for making this. It's a brilliant video, and seeing that so many of those characters were your alts makes it even more amazing. It's lovely in a very haunting way, and it captures so much of what all of us are feeling now.

I did, however, make the mistake of watching this at work, right before my first patient. Now I'm exerting some serious willpower to keep from crying in front of my staff.

Thinking about this again on the drive in to work this morning.

The "logout" ending was particularly powerful.

Thanks for all the hard work and love you've put into these videos over the last few years. They're part of what kept me here in the first place. The game is great, the devs are great, the community is great and your videos have been just outstanding.

Every time NCSoft has another bad quarter, we should send them all these links to remind of them why they'll never do so well again.

Sadly, I doubt NCSoft realizes that when their last accounting trick fails and they are consigned to the corporate round file they will not have a eulogy as grand as CoH has.

Interestingly... I didn't find it sad... not 90% of it. It actually made me smile... until I saw the logout countdown... a tear did roll out as soon as I saw the Connection Lost message.

So much anger and sadness going through my head... but I digress. Again, amazing video. Always loved your work.

I said it over on Titan and I will say it here - Amazing video. With the sun set coming closer every day your video really hit home. Just 2 months ago I thought I would have CoH for at least 2-3 more years and now like everyone else that day is creeping up faster than I ever thought it would.

The ending made me realize just how much I am dreading the LOST CONNECTION message I will be receiving on 11/30/2012
