Synapse and Arbiter Hawk are the Power Guys (it's a dynamic duo with 50/50 ownership now.)

Still not sure if I want to do that, btw, but it's an option.
Welcome Back A_C...

Well if it is like my engineering degree, there is still plenty of tough classes, but they tend to be in areas that interest you.

Keep up the work and study study study!

And I'll have no sass goin' in their direction, those two have been just fanfreakin' amazing. All the new power sets simply awesome and not to mention the fixes they've done and the ones coming up.

Wow, it's been three years?

As already mentioned, Stalkers got a massive buff (insta-cast AS when not hidden! Also, normal attacks build up your chance to land an quasi-crit with AS when unhidden... and the Stalker ATO 'proc' ).

In the email window, you now have Email, Account Items, and Character Items.

Account Items are items awarded to every character on an account, and includes most/all the old Veteran Rewards (now rolled into the Paragon Rewards tokens system).

Character Items are one-offs, claim it on a character and only that character gets it. The new stuff tends towards this.

Anything listed in the paragon market as "VIP Content :" is something you are getting as part of your sub.

www.paragonwiki.com is still around of course. Remember, if it has ads, it's not the real thing

And welcome back, long time no see.

Welcome back Angry and yes Synapse and Arbiter Hawk has done a brilliant job working on the powers.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

No, I did, I just had never seen them referred to as I/O's. I see that and think "input/output".

Any hint of regret that I may have in the future over my decision to return has just vanished into a subatomic smudge.

There's a trial tied to the zone, Dilemma Diabolique. And you get to finish off Tyrant in the Magisterium...which conveniently unlocks the new Hybrid slot.

Welcome back.

Yeah they did a super duper bang-up job on that zone revamp. How far into the missions did you get? Did you do the intro mission where you are first told about DA?

Also, old DA is available in Ouroboros, through a portal way in the back.

Pretty sure "IO" is still the norm. Anyway, welcome back.

I just finished the mission with the Tsoo where you're looking for information. Yes, I did the intro mission, and bricks were excreted over the "dream sequence". Straight out of freaking Lovecraft, that stuff!

Funny, the majority of the player base tells me you don't what you're talking about.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

OOC, what's the last major update you remember?

They all sorta became a blur after I13, tbh. And I only remember I13 because they destroyed PvP.

That's not to say I don't know anything that has happened since I13, but the issues themselves became less distinct after that, at least for me.

Paragonwiki says I left right before I16, so.

I've just recently (~2 mos) returned after about a two-year hiatus myself. In a way it's the same game I left -- the Incarnate content creates an endgame that was lacking, but the overall feel is very similar. I think the things I've noticed most are a very different direction in powers development (not to mention a much higher turnaround speed, which is mostly nice; there's some bipedal locomotion concerns I have but I see the downside in everything) and art development (pretty much universally shinier. BaBs and JLove aren't around and their principles have been compromised on, but as far as I know we the players mostly wanted that a while ago anyway. Building on the shoulders of giants and all that).

Superbase content is snafu and individual housing is an official no (resource problems). VIP Rewards are now selectable within tiers, which themselves grant benefits for completing (mostly to Premiums, but VIPs get additional storage out of it and a nice bonus at the highest completable tier). Bunch of new animation options in the power customizer. IOs are getting a minor overhaul next Issue. I forget where you mostly posted but melee are going strong, most ranged are getting buffed (also next Issue), and control is pretty much where it was (the new Control sets, dark and electric, are much more conservative than some of the other new-to-you-and-me sets).

On Paragonwiki, here's the Incarnate System top page : http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Incarnate_System . I found looking up 'x' "Slot Abilities" to be the most useful for me, but I tend to go straight for the jugular; there's a lot of corollary information to absorb as well.

Mostly, though, I just want to say that I share your confusion about unnecessary and grammatically problematic slashes.

Nice to see you back Angry Citizen.

You should definitely check out the new power sets.
Kinetic Melee and Street Justice are particularly good on Stalkers.
Titan Weapons is great for the other Melees (it's not available on Stalkers)

And for Ranged theres the brand new Water Blast set, the Beam Rifle set and a plethora of proliferations that I've lost track of all of them.

Since you've already been to DA the next step is the Incarnate Trials.
