While the palette WOULD allow me to create a hero who got their powers after falling into a vat of radioactive cola, the default coloration is so pretty that I really don't see myself customizing it any.

Now I need the I24 Overview page to see if blasters get any new secondaries (martial arts??) with the other various buffs.
I would not like to level a water blast character to find out I have to re-roll into a martial arts blaster.
They're tossing a yellow liquid that deals Cold damage at enemies. They say it's urine, I say it's lemonade. Protest as they might, they can't prove they're not drenching foes in cool, refreshing lemonade. It's just my word versus theirs.
Also, like any other person doing something you find distasteful, don't team with them.

There's a difference between "Lemonade Boy" claiming he is firing lemonade, and "Urine Boy" claiming he is firing lemonade.
One is telling the truth. The other is trying to avoid a generic and other possible punishments.
"My Word Vs. Theirs" doesn't really work in CoX.
Anybody else going to role a water blast/mental manipulation character, and immediately apply the Coralax Costume Power toggle?

In the beta in the past, I have seen the locked-but-purchaseable sets show up during character creation, they just had the little Store icon/link on them and couldn't be selected, only viewed.
I remember seeing it with Staff Fighting, seeing it with the new MM set, etc. Just that it doesn't show up now (but I can't recheck again because I've "Purchased" it on beta already)
The Beta is full of bugs?
How can that be?!

I'm saying, suppose I meet Urine Boy, who claims he is firing urine. I snicker, and ask why he's battling evil with the not-so-awesome power of lemonade. He can't prove I'm wrong. This reverses the polarity of the annoyance.
I agree that anybody doing reportable things will not escape a GM's wrath with some thinly-veiled excuse.

They don't show up in the power set selection screen as locked - you have to buy them off the market first (for 0pp) and then they show up in the character creation screen.

Neato, a release date and everything. No need for people to constantly post threads about why the set isn't in the store every Tuesday until it comes out... unless it doesn't come out on the stated date.
