It has long been my wish that the devs would prune the hero side contact tree to get rid of the redundant contacts (there's really no need for two or three contacts who have the exact same missions and dialog) and add personality to the ones left over. Alternatively, the redundant contacts could be re-purposed and given new missions/story arcs.

I don't drink alcohol at all, and I would still end up hospitalized.

It's too bad that you can't kill Reese. Even if you beat him senseless and leave him in the middle of a building that you blow to bits, he still miraculously survives. In fact, the only choices you have concerning Reese are to either let him live to continue his douchebaggery, or to try to kill him and have him pop up as you leave Praetoria so that he can say "Hey, I know you hate me, and tried to kill me, but I'm a good guy now, so you aren't allowed to try again."

Personally, I don't give a crap about his personal epiphany. He's a jerk and a murderer, and has long since given up any second chances he may have once deserved. Having him show up and forcing me to forgive him - at least enough to let him live - was the singular most aggravating thing forced down my throat in Praetoria.

I've only ever met Reese in the tutorial - he's like a signpost for directing people to join the Resistance with his loyalists ranting about having to comply, and "disappearing" if you don't.

Have you ever pondered making Golden Girl's evil Praetorian twin? Same body model, only the bad one is in a black version of the clothes with a daring neckline? Then when evil-Golden Girl (Iron Lady? Tarnished Lady?) comes to Primal and goes villain, she can be GG's evil arch-nemesis? Just think, every time evil-GG did something horrible to gain power it would highlight all of the things GG resisted.

And you call my Loyalists evil?* Churning out bad slash fic is the work of a hero?! For shame! **

*OK, so a couple of them are. The others are 'insane from being experimented on by her father and the recovery that happened after ("Oh, I'm sorry it hurts sweetie, but it's for the best of the Empire. Here, lets have a nurse bring you an Enriche popsicle.") and the other is trapped in the system ("Dammit. I manifested powers. Well, I guess I have to work at the PDD. I wouldn't want anyone to take out issues of my disloyalty on the orphanage I was raised in- I can't put them in danger.")

That's what you get for sending your Power Loyalist blueside. If you send him redside, Reese is nowhere to be seen, so for all intents and purposes, he's dead.

The game decides which three NPCs (or groups of NPCs) come to visit you before you have a chance to decide Hero or Villain. They may (and probably do) vary based on whether you do the Resistance or Loyalist portal mission.

In fact, the first time I bumped into Reese while leaving Praetoria, it was on a blaster that went to the redside.
