Water Blast!
EDIT:I have just deleted the post that you quoted. Because I felt like it.
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Well, I've been developing an idea for hemakinetics...
So I hope I do, in fact, get red for my planned Water/Mental blaster.

It appears not many of you have seen the NPC water powers, not speaking of Corolax, but moreso the 50++ content in DA, mainly the Prophetesses. They have giant over-sized powers and the water effects are pretty damn awesome. I forget which arc they first appear in, Max maybe?

Did a quick Paragon Wiki search for those guys, and I can't find them. Any help?

EDIT: I don't think that they've added all the new Banished Pantheon to Paragon Wiki Yet!
I thought it was the Talon of Vengence but I don't think so...It may of been the New Additions to the Banished Pantheon...Prohestus or something? I need to wander around DA and check it out.

You may be thinking of Storm Shamaness, lt rank mob. I don't really remember them throwing anything at me apart from Water Spout (looking just as rubbish as ever) but maybe the just didn't live long enough.
I really should do something about this signature.

EDIT: They are associated with the Talons of Vengeance iirc.
wait i havent gone through all the pages :P
has there been speculation that two of the Hydra Heads powers are potential water-blast fx? methinks for geyser and aqua burst... but i'm sure the powers will be even more epic, but as soon as i stumbled upon those powers my previous thoughts during DFB's of "these sure would look great as a water powerset..." surfaced...
are they going to disable the yellow color tint?
At the Player Summit the Devs said something about hoping that players would be mature about color selections... which kind of implies that it won't have the strictly limited color palate of the Ice sets, but we won't know for sure till it actually goes into Beta.
I really hope it has the more versatile color palate, the Ice palate really is horrifically limited.
Blocking yellow seems like a sure thing, but I have a blood/blood corruptor that will be real sad if he can't re roll.
We don't know.

I think both of those arguments are hogwash, myself.
1) There's still other sets that you can use to approximate blood with.
2) Why *shouldn't* I be allowed to make my Ice look like gems? I can make fire into toxic clouds, or dark armor into sand armor or water armor, why does Ice HAVE to be Ice?
We'll find out soon... !!!!

Oy, got a patch error. 90 minute repair before I'll get onto beta.
But "the other wiki" has a page on the set.

Yellow and Red are off-limits due to some crazy notion of it being used for urine or blood, highly saturated colors are just out because it makes the Ice look too much "like gems."

Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth
Currently on Beta... the color options are the same as the standard character creater. So yes, yellow and red are currently available.
...
And personally? The Yellow shades need to be removed.
Personally, I'm much more interested in the teir 9. Unless I'm misreading everything, this is a crashless nuke in a non-weapon set. And it's in a set with two other Targeted AoEs and a Cone... and a strong third single-target attack, AND it has a self heal/attack instead of a snipe.
Wow... I'm kinda expecting many adjustments in the near future. 'cause I think this may be a bit OP right now, just looking at the numbers.
Of course, I'll have to actually play around with it this evening, to see for sure.

As I recall, the term used was "cartoon gems", which I took to mean as "really fake & tacky looking".

No they don't. Stop being afraid of what a fraction of a percent of people may think of doing with the set. Especially considering all the other immature, gross things people can already do with all sorts of other stuff in this game.
Also, green and yellow make for a really good acidic appearance with Water Blast.
Please don't limit what colours people can do. If you are so afraid of someone making yellow water and that it is going to be the death of COX, people have for years had broadcast/team chat and could have spoken of far worse things to ruin your game. It didn't happen then it won't happen now.
If it bothers you so much and you find this person, just don't team up with them.
