I've been watching a lot of Avatar Korra as of late...I might make a water bender toon.
Which is why they should be working on simul releases of water control and water assault for doms and trolls. Water benders do a lot more than blast.

Please buff Ice Control.

Why not run a Darkness or Mind Controller and just sit back and watch them obliterate eachother? You don't get xp but you also get to watch longer.

That would make sense...but I hate getting my hopes up lol. Water Assault would be a nice surprise and it would make up for that little special thing we were supposed to get lol.

I'm not a fan of Mind Control but I am slowly leveling my Dark/Dark Dom...he's lvl 30 now so SOON! tm

If they do ever port Illusion Control to Dominators, I wouldn't mind having a Illusion/Water Assault toon.

The concept is: 'That's right...You only THINK you're drowning.'

I did this after I knew my scrap died... Grabbed my 50 dark/dark and possessed the whole mob

Any news of what colour customisation will be avalible for the set? I found that the cooler colours that ice powers force you to pick from really stifled my creativity.

Rockshock (Druid Tanker), Medicat (Combat Medic), Dwarf From the North (Ice Mage), Rocket Gal (Energy Blaster), Graveborn (Undead Mastermind), Streeker (Punching Speedster), Op. Sidewinder (Recluse's pet Spider)

I think it's safe to assume we won't have access to anything between Red and Yellow.

Ugh I wish Ice Armor would get a friggin overhaul on those ugtastic graphics. They should implement an alternative type graphic for ice armor and some of the attacks (like ice fists or w/e the initial power is called). I really wish the ice armor set were auras like chilling embrace, hoarfrost etc.

Ah man, you know how many villains would LOVE Blood Blast?

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

I really hope that's not the case.

Neither the waterfall back-pieces not the slime/clunker aura have color limitations, despite the fact they could be used for exactly the type of "fluids" that such color limitations to Ice's customization sought to prevent. Yet there hasn't been any kind of uproar about inappropriateness for those.

If they're not going to apply their own reasoning for the limitations across the board, then I fail to see why they should apply them at all.

I already have a Blood Blaster with recoloured Dark Blast.

I really should do something about this signature.

I don't believe they have the ability to limit color options for costume pieces (like the backpiece or the aura) the way they can with powers (at least not without a lot of extra work).

And if I remember correctly, the only "fluid" color that was avoided with Ice powers was yellow. The rest of the warmer colors, particularly red according to BaBs, were removed because they made the ice graphics look like gems, which the devs wanted to avoid. Despite how much freedom the devs give us to customize our own characters, they have made it evident several times that they don't want us forgetting or straying too far from the intended themes of our powersets when it comes to power customization.

Anyway, I suspect yellow would be avoided with Water Blast for the same reason it was avoided with the Ice sets (throwing urine at enemies is probably not going to happen), but when it comes to red, well... there is a difference between a player choosing to have his character look like he is leaking or dripping blood and a player choosing to have his character look like he is drenching enemies with blood. The game is still rated "T", which means little to no blood. I think geysers or whirpools of the stuff would be pushing it. >_>

PEGI is the European rating system, it's still T for Teens in the US.

I still say the ESRB should make a T15 rating like they did for E10.

Bovine costume set with the name Dairy Avenger.

Dairy Avenger: "Succumb to my malicious mammary blasts! Ho Ha!"

*Sploitch*
*Splash*

Villain 1: "Wait...Dairy avenger? Aren't you a...male bull?"

*Sllltch*

Villain 2: "It's soooo sticky...!"

Dairy Avenger: "Ho Ha!"

I disagree with that reasoning as well.

I can color Fire with greens and browns and have Toxic or Pollen/Spore based armor.

I can color Dark Armor blue and have Water Armor, or tan and have Sand Armor.

Why does Ice Armor HAVE to be Ice? WHY SHOULDN'T I be able to color it bright red and have "Ruby" armor, when I can do the exact same thing with numerous other armor sets?

Obviously this is a rhetorical question, since you couldn't give me a definitive or official answer, but the point remains.

Actually the reason they wanted Ice to not look like gems was because that was Stone Armor's territory.

But you can make Stone look like Ice, so this doesn't really hold for me.

From the way it was explained at the time, it seemed more like the issue was just tht they thought it was ugly, although I'm fairly sure avoiding "yellow snow" was at least a consideration. What's unfortunate though is that with some powers sets the appplication wasn't universal. I think Storm Summoning, for example, can color some powers vividly and not others.

In terms of Water Blast, I'd personally be surprised if it wasn't given the "icy colors" palette. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I'm not often grossed out by this game's graphics, but a few times I have seen players use the "goop" aura as blood and it did turn my stomach.
