Water Blast!

That's not really solid, its a repeating graphical fx. And if that is the best graphic they can come up with, then they may as well give Water Blast away, since I can't see many people shelling out for something that looks so feeble.

As already stated, there are no new mechanics, it's just a rehash of Street Justice. So without new graphics tech I can't see making this a paid for set being justified.

If it is too bright, you want to alter your monitor/gamma settings. If you can't read text on a white background, say, like Wikipedia, then yes, it is too bright. If it is NOT too bright to read Wikipedia, then Super Speed's obnoxious brightness bringing migraines is all in your head - honest.

Do you see what I am saying though - your monitor can only get as bright as how the color white looks to you, like if you hit 'reply' for example on this forum, you should see a white text box you can type in. If you have 5 white text boxes, and it hurts your eyes, you might need to adjust your monitor settings. It isn't the game - rather it is the gamma settings/contrast/brightness etc and even the environment's light level where the monitor sits.

I realize we have Assault Rifle and Dual Pistols, but Thrown Weapons would be a very welcome edition to this game when it comes to theme/origin.

Hopefully that will still come down the line in a year or so.

Some of the Knives of Vengence have an Autumnal powerset which allows them to use fire powers in one hand and ice in the other. Causes both of the fire and ice debuffs, and the damage to boot!

Fine - I'll bite and explain how my Light Sensitivity condition works.

Ever had those drops put into your eyes for tests that cause your pupils to dilate? And how you need sunglasses to see normally for a few hours after that?

Now imagine if someone's pupils were like that all the time. In my case, my pupils are slightly wider than normal - causing my eyes a great deal of discomfort. If I'm looking at something like Wikipedia that has a uniform white background, my eyes can compensate by dilating slightly - looking at it for extend periods causes discomfort, however.

In the game, the issue is the DISPARITY between bright and dark - I can't just crank my gamma because while it makes bright graphics more tolerable, it makes dark environments impossible to see - this is why the environment in UGT sets me off - both dark and bright together is impossible to handle.

EDIT: I'm going to try messing around with my CCC to see if I can work around the issue.

LOL that was my first encounter too! They conned white, yellow and orange to me. So you can imagine what happened. I pretty much ran in the mob with my scrapper, saw the power, my jaws dropped and I pretty much stared my SR scrapper to death waiting to see the power again ontop of the earth ones.

Yesh! In fact I hope that the set looks a lot like a Waterbender Fighting. I think it would look cool and also it's not like we're going to ever get Water Melee lol.
