Discussion: Tier 9 VIP Reward - Celestial Armor Availability
I feel like we're not gonna get anything more than a 24 hour's notice, and even then it will only be implicit via the standard announcement of patch downtime.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
I want the Celestial back pieces but I will wait till they reveal the alternate way to get the whole pack I will spend my first T9 VIP token on Fire and Ice.
Soooo... any word on when this is happening? An actual date, perhaps?

I know that... I was both trying to remind them that they said they'd give more notice prior to the launch, and fishing for a possible release date.

There had better be WAY more advance notice for the I23 patch than the 6 hours we got for today's little patch.
C'mon devs, don't screw us on this.

Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.
Wait...we can do that? So, hypothetically, if there were some consumable someplace lower on the tree that I wanted, I could spend my token on that rather than proceeding with filling in my current tier?
June 5th
I'd say that's more than 24 hours notice.

Steele misspoke. The repeatable consumables are Tier 9.

The unlockable, cycling costume sets are Tier 9 VIP, the top tier of the tree.
You have to fill all the way up through Tier 8 in order to get any of the Tier 9 or Tier 9 VIP stuff, sorry. There's no repeatable stuff below that.

Ah, okay. I did understand the system correctly then. Thought I had missed something. Thanks for the answer, Chad.
