New Avengers TV spot summed up in two words.....HULK SMASH!
"My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely pretty and well preserved, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...WOW...What a Ride"
Loki: "I have an army!"
Tony Stark's response: "WE have a HULK!"
or it may go to Stark for this dialogue:
Cap to Tony: "Big man in a suit of armor, take it away and what are you?"
Tony's response: "A genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist"
I also noted the return of Hulk's super-jump.

Shows what looks like a scene of Cap giving orders and says to to the HULK.... "HULK! SMASH!" Hulk just grins and then we see scenes of him in action. |
Combine that with Hulk supposedly talking more and getting along better with Banner, and it's going to be ******* awesome. I almost wish he'd fight Thor, though, but I suppose I can be happy with him tearing through an entire army.

To me that is a good thing, since "HULK, SMASH!" being his main vocabulary gets old. Yeah it's fun to watch him cut loose and crush his enemies, but the constant near mindless state wore rather thin. I was glad when they finally upped his IQ again.
Of course there is the chance that if the fight goes on too long and Hulk gets too riled up that he may start seeing everyone as an enemy to smash, THEN we'd get the Hulk vs. Thor fight
Perhaps Thor will be unable to lift something (one of the crashed aircraft or the Helicarrier maybe?) and Hulk will assist. Hulk will claim, "Hulk strongest there is!" Then the post-credits scene will be Thor and Hulk arm-wrestling, maybe using Cap's shield as a kinetic-energy-neutral base or in space. Maybe on Titan, and that gets Thanos' attention!
Ahem, got carried away for a second. >.>

Well let's see about some of the differences between them:
1. one is big and green the other looks human (had to get that out of the way)
2. Both have 100ton level strength, but Hulk starts at 100 ton and gets stronger. Thor can double his strength with his belt of power, but Hulk can surpass that
3. Both are agile and fast, but as Hulk gets more powerful he'd get faster then THOR
4. Hulk cannot lift THOR's hammer per the enchantments of ODIN, he has never been able to.
5. Hulk has never been able to damage the hammer
6. THOR has command of the weather, something Hulk doesn't have though Hulk could cause some serious ground quakes or use his sonic thunder clap
7. Hulk doesn't fly, he leaps for miles at a time. THOR can fly and thus steer while in flight, Hulk just jumps and lands and jumps again.
8. THOR can use his hammer to open dimension warps from Earth to pretty much anywhere so he could banish the Hulk as he once did with the Juggernaut.
9. THOR has lived a long time and thus should have far greater combat skill and tactics then then Hulk.
10. Hulk kicks Thor's *** anyways.

Neither does Thor Technically. Thor Actually Throws Mjolnir and rides along with it to fly. which is why you see him spinning Mjolnir above his head when he hovers.
Just imagine how much that would cost in cg bills. It would be awesome though

And for those that just want to know who is stronger, ala who faster superman or flash , you can netflix this.
It looks silly though.
I can't wait for the movie though.
Is it just me, or does the art on that page look awkward?
Yeah, I'm not really sure what's happening on that page. It looks like Mijonir is sucking the blood out of Thor's face.

Thor was specifically created to be the comic book character more powerful than the Hulk. I'm a Hulk fanboy, but when the two fight I gotta give the win to Thor. Stan Lee created him just to win that fight.
As for the movie, it's looking good. I'm trying not to watch any more trailers so I'm not spoiled too much. But I caught the 'Hulk Smash' trailer on TV.

Life is funny. Death is funnier. Mass slaughter can be hilarious.

If THOR was still King of Asgard and had access to the Odinpower as is his birthright, then he could and should be able to handle the Hulk with ease since THOR would be a skyfather, case in point: Zeus thoroughly schooled the Hulk when they fought.
THOR as the God of Thunder should still be able to handle the Hulk given that he has centuries of battle experience as well as the elements at his command, but THOR's strength is at a fixed level and only increases when he wears his belt of strength or has the Odinpower in him. HULK's strength just keeps on increasing with his rage.
Hulk has been belted by gamma rays many times over his existence and each dosage has a tendency to make him stronger and stronger. Now add in the fact that he has more intelligence in him then many fans are accustomed to and he can use his power with more tactics then just "HULK SMASH".
As a god of thunder, THOR should always be above the Hulk, but writers have forgotten that and the Hulk has evolved.
Possibly, but I think the best line award will likely be awarded to Tony Stark
