What's YOUR CoH/V set up look like???

I've got a new computer on the way (finally will be able to turn the settings back up and partake in iTrials and the such again!) and it got me thinking about my gaming setup. Currently my computer is just sitting in one of the spare bedroom...very basic...on a computer desk, computer chair, futon in the room, but that's it. I do have a nice big monitor /flatscreen that makes the game MUCH more enjoyable than just the basic computer monitor. But, with the new CPU on its way, I began wondering if there's some ways to optimize my gaming experience. I've learned so much from you other players out there about the game, this computer I ordered, etc. So, I thought I'd ask for your help with this as well!

Was hoping to get some shots of what your gaming setups look like to possibly steal some ideas. I was considering moving my computer to another room...but if I do I'd like to have something in mind. That's where you come in. Let's see how YOU'RE gaming! I'd love to steal some of your ideas. Is everyone playing like me....sitting like some telemarketer in front of the computer in a very traditional manner? Or, do some of you have some L33T!!! gaming setups that you'd like to share to possibly inspire others like me that really want to get the MOST out of this game? I'm LOVING my time back (just recently returned from three year absence), but I just wonder if there's MORE out there for me than how I have it setup now.

Just a basic desk, chair, etc. But the main/gaming system also shares it with my work system, so...

As far as inserting a picture, there should be an icon on the bar that looks like a yellow rectangle with "mountains" inside - which will ask for the URL of the picture (wherever you're hosting it.) If you're using a service like Photobucket, it will have an option to let you copy some code inside [ IMG ] tags (without the spaces) - just copy and paste.

For instance, the code for this:

looks like this (again, removing the spaces between the brackets and IMG)

Also, so nobody feels their setup's not good enough - my (admittedly temporary) setup - that desk is going *away* when I move, it's been used hard for many years.

And yes, in a more permanent setup, the cables would be cleaner.

I sit in a lazyboy chair with the laptop in my lap and a fan blowing on the back of the laptop to cool it down. I have drinks on a small table on my right side, and on my left I have a cat who loves to shove her butt in my face and is never satisfied with the food I give her.

<3 my machine.

I sit with my laptop on the left end of the couch. In the winter that seat is close enough to the radiator to remain warm, and yet not so close as to cause perspiration. In the summer, it's directly in the path of a cross-breeze created by opening windows there and there. It faces the television at an angle that is neither direct, thus discouraging conversation, nor so far wide as to create a parallax distortion. I could go on, but I think I've made my point.

old Dell mini-tower under an antique oak writing desk in my office nook, widescreen monitor on top w/ Dell keyboard & Logitech g-500 mouse. The space is like a good sized walk in closet off the main living room, lined with floor to ceiling bookshelves.

Quite a pleasant environment.

Still debating on whether I should get second monitor. The project that I really needed it for was cancelled (I don't have enough time these days), but it'd be nice to go back to a dual screen setup.

LOVE the setups!!! My new computer arrived today ...so hopefully I'll have my new dual system setup going as early as noon!! At that point I'll get a picture here so you guys can see the change. I think my first step needs to be a new desk. I need one of those flat corner ones. Right now the desk I'm on is really only designed for 1 computer. Might just have to make it work for now!
