Servers have at least 3 more hours in the oven, either you got on by some freak accident or this is a troll thread.

He is not trolling the servers are up. Converters are missing and the BETA combat attribute window bug has now transferred to live. Brilliant.


The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Yup. Servers are up, Zwill is on Virtue AP tossing around that new disc power, and the two hours I stayed up after my wife went to bed repositioning alts and getting all the various IOs I want to convert on characters with appropriate resources to work with them appear to have been wasted.

Which I wouldn't mind so much, if I weren't sick with a sinus infection.

But I'm fairly annoyed.

I've always been amazed how quickly people always assume the worse the very microsecond the servers come back up. There's a reason why I never take time off during the day of an Issue release - things always take a few hours to settle out one way or the other. *shrugs*

It would be nice if they would warn us when they are not putting things in that they have previously said would be in. No converters, and no staff melee. That is about everything I was excited about in this issue.

Indeed. They specifically said on the FB Q&A that converters were going live with I22.

I don't think we've received the patch notes yet. That's the official mechanism for telling us what is in the release.

They usually appear an hour or two after the end of the published maintenance window.

The Converters may be a new problem today, but they told us Staff Melee would not launch with I22 quite a while ago.

I knew staff was not coming today, but I miss it no less for knowing.

Zwill just said in broadcast that the converters will be in a patch Soon(tm)

Right from the start, they've said that Staff Figthing is not in I22 - and they've been repeating that all through the beta, on the forums, UStream, Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
They did the same for Titan Weapons in I21, and they'll do the same with the power sets scheduled for the I23 development timeframe - they always test them during Issue betas, just like they test other items like vanity pets, costume sets, superpacks and so on that aren't released with an Issue.

This time, she is right, though. The Devs have said multiple times that Staff Fighting would not come out with I22, but would be released between I22 and I23. They have never said otherwise. People who were expecting it to come with I22 were either ignoring all evidence to the contrary or just weren't paying attention.

I noticed that combat attribute window bug when I logged on to the beta server yesterday... I was hoping that would be fixed, since I rely on watching combat attributes for reactions during battle (paying attention to tiny icons is a little to hard for me)...

Ah, well.

Let's hope that patch comes soon.

Until then, you may see me in another game that got released today.

Going by the sudden disappearance of them from the live build, my guess is that they picked up on some kind of obscure bug with them yesterday when they were doing the final checks before launch.

There was a setting on the beta server which caused them to work correctly in that environment, but not on live, we have identified and resolved the issue, they will appear in the next patch.
