I have seen animated teeth on the chainsaw blade as well.
It will be a very silent chainsaw though as we tend towards a policy of no sound on costume pieces based upon established player teeth gnashing behavior models. -
Quote:Yes.With the new Tier 9 VIP costume set, what will happen to the Fire & Ice costume set? Will it be removed?
Quote:Is there any available information about when the Celestial set (and/or Fire & Ice if it gets removed) will be returning?
Also, FPARN? -
I will be at GenCon on vacation, but will be stopping by the M&G with a shwag bag, the contents of which I am not at liberty to discuss.
Looking forward to it! -
Quote:I'd have followed George C. Scott into hell after that scene, not to mention Patton. The *ivory* handled revolver is what really sells it, after all, we know what type of people use pearl handled revolvers. That still looks rather silly - they don't really flatter anyone's shape
The pulp/golden age concepts/themes are ones that several of the devs (including myself) have a soft spot for, I wouldn't worry too much about them falling into the abyss, not that this statement is a promise of anything to come (I have to add my usual disclaimer to everything). -

Well, Arya seems to be the one Stark willing to do/sacrifice whatever is necessary to achieve her goals, it bodes well for her in the long run. However, I believe she will get close to her goal, but because she's one of the faceless men (women?) she'll be tragically killed by someone who should be her ally, probably by a member of her own family who doesn't realize it's her at the time.

Quote:Daenerys will probably feel a brief pang of guilt when her dragons eat him too, at which point I will cheer.I see your point, but would argue with the Bran "just doesn't care" line. He knows what he's doing is wrong and feels guilty everytime he does it.
Either that or Bran will see the dragons, take control of Drogon and kill all the Lannisters. Now there's a song of ice and fire! -
The first couple times I definitely cut him some slack, no doubt. In the fight with the white walkers he needed to do what he did, fair enough. However, now he just does it so he can walk around, because he's bored, because he wants to play with the other kids. It's not like he's unaware of how completely terrifying the experience is for Hodor, he just doesn't care.

Quote:Ahh, the Ironborn, my favorite faction, brutal, unapologetic, and totally true to who they are. (Note how the folks who fail to be true to who they are tend to meet with misery?)Subject: Victarion
Where do you see him in the grand scheme of things? Is he an important player, destined for some greatness? Will he eventually claim the Seastone Chair? Is he a big ole red herring soon to die a horrible death? Is he actually going to sweep Dany off her feet?
I find him an interesting character, but find it hard to picture where his thread is going. On one hand he's as sympathetic a character that an ironborn can be, but his over confidence makes me wonder if he isn't going to die horribly. Possible from a dragon.
Thoughts?
Victarion will be transporting Daenerys to Westeros to save her cousin. I suspect he is going to turn on his brother, who basically sent him on a suicide mission. Now that he realizes this he will throw his lot in with the Targaryens, providing them some of the naval power they'll need to secure their claims in Westeros. -
He followed his heart selfishly instead of leading his people responsibly. The one lesson he should have learned growing up should have been the fact that a Lord lives for his people, not for himself, got what was coming to him.

I'm not sure how he treats Hoder can be described as anything short of despicable, Jaime should have pushed with a blade first before dumping the body out the window.
-
Fire does not kill Targaryens.
Ice (Winter) does not kill Starks. (Benjen, for example)
Truly, a song of Ice and Fire at the conclusion of things it would seem.
He understands nobles as he's seen it from their perspective.
He understands the watch as he's seen it from their perspective.
He understands the wildlings as he's seen it from their perspective.
I suspect Jon will be seeing things from the white walkers side of the situation soon, after all, he's seen it from everyone else's side already, right?
So maybe he is dead.
Then again, all the Stark kids are idiots (Bran is a scumbag, not an idiot), with the exception of Arya, and deserve what they get. -
Old Man's War trilogy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Man%27s_War
Amazing, very reminiscent of Heinlein but with a more modern take.
Anathem - Neal Stephenson - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anathem
Very hard sci-fi, no blasters or silly rocket ships, probably the best sci-fi book I've ever read in my life. -
But, we were going to revamp the Hollows into a giant dog park...no?
-
No? Maybe? Can you restate the question? Are you asking if Hoods in general will be usable in conjunction with the bubble helmet? If that is the question then the answer is sadly no, but perhaps you could clarify.

Less bulge, noted, already fixed, I'm sure Dink will post an update here in the next week or so.

I'm pretty foggy on the whole developer timescale thing, but I believe they are "Imminent".
-
Not tomorrow.
Soon.
Not imminent though. -
There was a setting on the beta server which caused them to work correctly in that environment, but not on live, we have identified and resolved the issue, they will appear in the next patch.

Quote:We'll look into the possibility.During last week's Coffee Talk, it was mentioned that the jetpack's thrusters will light up when Fly is activated, like the existing Rocket Boots do. Any chance of having that happen when Super Jump is active, too?
Quote:I hope this isn't too much to ask: will the bubble helmet be available for "alien" heads? (Monstrous, the various cat heads, the various dog heads, the bird head, the fish head from the Halloween pack, etc.?)
Quote:I see that the top of the female dress is implemented as a Shirt -- will there be matching sleeves? Otherwise, those shoulder rings don't look like they're actually connected to the dress, at least not solidly enough.
Hope that answers your questions, thanks!
