As the title asks, how is it that the dinky weapon Ms. Liberty has could possibly be the legendary sword of kings?

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

People were much shorter in the days of old. None were as huge as we can make our characters in this game.

The size of the blade is directly proportional to the worthyness of the wielder?

Just a thought.

It's a magic sword. It automatically scales to the size/strength of the user.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

I never even realized that dagger she wears was supposed to be Excalibur.
Maybe she only got the broken half of it after Arthur shattered it against Lancelot.

Thunder Cats Ho!

You guys sure it is the magical sword or Mr. Liberty's Excalibur.

It's not the size of the sword.

The sheath is known as "The Lady of the Lake's Secret Compartment". Distant relation to "Victoria's Secret Compartment".

Well, not really. We do know that she is the current guardian of Excalibur but I don't think we've been informed that she carries it at all times.

All the answers are excellent.

And yes, that is Excalibur she is carrying. ftp://ftp.cityofheroes.com/comics/topcow/comic_20.pdf p.4. It has fairies and everything.

Because it shows the maturity level of the average poster here. I'm sure it would have been the first reply on several other MMO forums.

It may be a bit on the small side, but you have NO IDEA what Ms. Liberty has to put up with in order to wield it.

Wonder how many time's she's had to deal with clause 452...

Gee thanks for the insult, Santa. And all this time I thought we were friends.

I think Father X-mas meant that as a compliment, unless you are insulted by being called more mature then the posters on other forums....

I really think it needs reiterating that it's not the size of what you've got but what you can do with it.

Nothing wrong with a bit of humour - regardless of your age - mental or otherwise.

1. It was a compliment to the forums in general sure but also indirectly called the person who made an "it's not the size" post immature like that other game.
2. I was kidding. ( was a clue as was in Santa's post)

Excalibur has been portrayed as both a two handed "Conan" sword and as a broadsword in various fictions over the years. If I remember correctly, it is supposed to be a broadsword which is what Ms. Liberty is wearing.

Question is: once Hero 1 is purged of his Rikti infestation will he be able to reclaim the sword?
