It probably shouldn't, at least not if the sadness is about someone missing out on the awesomeness of MMs. From my perspective, I'm not missing out. It's not like I want to play a Mastermind yet dislike them because they somehow aren't implemented right. (Well, OK, they do have some ugly AI issues, but that's not why I don't play them.) It's just some kind of personality/preferences thing - I just am not excited by the notion of a character who relies heavily on AI characters to get combat done.
I did try them out, but it just wasn't for me.
Edit: I should point out that I realize that MMs, at least for certain secondaries, can be very active. That certainly helps, but the MM is helping his pets win (or at least helping them not lose). The actual placement of boots on derrieres is done primarily by the pets, and that just doesn't appeal to me as much as something that deals most of its damage personally. -

So bad is this problem in Lambda, that I actually ended up deleting my baby Beast MM over it. Too many times the league is sitting at the main door, waiting for it to be time to acid the portals shut when all of a sudden, golly gee look! All of someone's Beasts, lead by that most annoying Direwolf [and does that thing ever SHUT UP, and here I was thinking Demons were bad...!].... when all the Beast pets break lose and make for Marauder as if they were so many arrows speeding to a bulls-eye. And suddenly its on, whether we are ready or not. Nice.
The MM in question always says they're trying to heel, but the pets are ignoring him or her. Is this true? I dont know, and have little inclination to find out. I'm not getting another MM to 50 only to find they cant participate in half the end-game content anyways: as it is My MMs have yet to run LAM, TPN, Keyes or MoM - I may be crazy, but stupid I am not. The people I see dragging MMs through these trials almost never make a decent fist of it and end up causing tons of trouble.
Trials well-behaved MMs do well on: BAF, UG. Maybe DD. And that is IT. -
Hmm I love my MMs and well Masterminds are my favorite AT but to each there own. Cause I can't stand Tankers. Nope sorry wont make one. Hmm let me see all my MM. Merc/Traps, Beast/Sonic, Deamon/Therm, Thug/Pain, Bot/FF it isn't that Boring oh wait that is his name, ninja/ta a MM to get pissed off at when you feel bored it meshes so well even on annoying the heck out of me.

I can see how RAID configuring active green drives would be a Bad thing, but in a situation where they would remain mostly offline (IE: unplugged) I'd think that it would become a non-issue.
Overall I seem to have a collection of WD drives (mostly the passports) with the exception of a Seagate that's serving to backup my PS3 as it requires a FAT32 partition and I think I'm done upgrading the HDD in the PS3 for now (last upgrade was 500Gb). I've clocked 3 out of 4 Fujitsu(?) factory installed laptop HDDs as dead within 5yrs of purchase so I definitely won't lean that way ever again. I used to buy Maxtor disks back in the day, but I don't even think they exist anymore. :-p
I wonder if you can do raid via a hard drive in a external enclosure using esata? If your computer has estata you can take a drive you want to buy and get a enclosure for it that way you can get the drive you want and better quality enclosures. That has been my big question with newer 500gb+ external premades cause they run hot some of the enclosures I have seen them in just doesn't seem like it would have enough cooling. Then again I am still trying to fill up my sata ports on my 2 computers board's, last hard drive I got was a 1TB green hard drive can't remember if it was WD or Seagate. -
On the issue of Seagate and WD. There both good. And they rotate which one is better alot even down to certain drives. For now though WD has seemed to have less failures for me. Also don't get discouraged if you get a DOA drive it seems with these big drives there are alot more runs of DOA but that is just the fact of making these drives. I would also say internal better then external. External can be nice but it is just safer to go internal and you can even make your own external drive which is way more customizable and better. Sata is just made for external, well it screams on how easy. I have a WD caviler green it works great.
Um my understanding is that it is a bad idea to raid the green drives. There meant to sit idle more often and haven't be reinforced to run high speeds alot and be accessed and written alot. Aka what I am saying is that raiding said drives will burn them out way way faster cause raid will use the drive highly.
Oh and personally I don't see the point of getting a drive smaller then 500gb anymore, it is just so cheap and common. -
I love my Elec/Elec/Elec blaster. Then again I like to play my blasters as blappers. So fun does good damage and can drain all that end away so fast. Though if you play one expect to die and die alot, though it is kind of fun to run in and sap a huge group and see how long you last. With a blaster I expect to die every now and then.

If you have noticed some of these characters you have been saying are great with SO have to be bought to play.
So Masterminds, Veats, Heats, Controllers are out.
And all those powersets some are even paid for VIP.
It is easier to point out sets that don't preform that well with SO, I love Dark Armor but it is so hard to play with just SO.
Here is a fun one. Brute or Scrapper Dark Melee/Electric Armor. It works really really really good with only SO just don't miss it does have the problem that it is very single target but it can't tank very well with SO. I wonder how it would be on a Tanker but I don't play Tankers.
To my knowledge no other powerset needs IO as much as Dark Armor. There are some that just underpreform with SO or in general. -
I tried my luck and made a Brute build to see how close to Claws Tank build. Here is what I figured. What do you think? Oh there is still 3 slots lvl 46 left to place where would you put them and what would you slot in them? And looking at this build has quite the recovery.

yeah I know how great HamiO is but I have no idea about how good he is with the market. I bet he has inf cause his current build does have nonsetIO and some set IO in it.

Nonset IO. He is VIP. He really isn't a friend but I am just helping the guy out. I think it would be better for him to make a build without sets first then to get another build with sets.
Yes if he is VIP he could make his own post but when I was helping him he was having trouble getting around the forums.
Actually I guess it depends on if he is staying VIP. If using nonset IO at 50 there really isn't as much reason not to do SO incase he drops from VIP.
So revise that and make a build with SO's. sorry for all the trouble. -
Hey I am posting this for a guy on Liberty server. his global is @K Mart
He needs help making his character. After chating with him for a bit I found out his current build, he is completely unfamiliar with how to slot and build a character, is majorly messed up. If you all could make a mids build with generic IO that would be a good starting point for him, it would atleast help him do some damage and take a beating right now he is failing bad. Thanks for any help.

I used the idea for paragon market slot to post a idea about making some combat pets and making them Tier 9 VIP. I figured that would be locked behind enough that it won't get flooded but it would give VIP something to get. And every so often they can make another and rotate them out, then after awhile rotate them back through.

The rest of Bricks would be taken over by rival gangs and factions that already exist there with each gang/faction having their own 'territory', with NPC battles at their borders. I'd extend the level range to make it from 31-42/43.
Can we get someone to post this somewhere where this can get some attention and I would vote for it but being Prem I can only post a few places. PLEASE OH PLEASE DO THIS IDEA!!!!! -

If you don't want to be bored make a Illusion/Kinetics. You can almost perma PA without IO and it lends you to steamrolling and being very active. I want to max my recharge as much as I can so I spam siphon speed all the time, it must me 3 stacked at all times. Yes you can't buff PA but you help yourself alot and others, oh and I don't have endurance issues. Best thing about PA they tank very well, unless you doing iTrials. I can solo stuff very very easily and chain mob after mob after mob into 1 giant line of death.
PS: I don't have any end issues with SI <.< >.> X.X man kinetics rocks -
