General Mission Teaming
That's a fair question, given the number of iTrials I run. Until recently, I'd have said no. For me, I've already run the low level stuff so many times, it's just boring. The incarnate trials offer some problem solving opportunities that don't exist elsewhere in the game. However, even that can get old. (and sometimes frustrating.)
So, I would ask you two questions in return:
1. What server do you play on?
2. What time of day/night do you play, and for how long?
Oh, a suggestion:
Pending your answer to number 1, consider joining that servers public global channels. You may see some casual chatter, you may not. But, those channels are good for finding teams of any level.

@Ukase
I know on Virtue you still see mid level teams all the time. Usually tip teams or radio mission teams... rare to find a team running actual contact missions.
Low and mid level TFs are run a lot too.

On less populated servers, if you join the global channels you will see mid level teams forming. Task Forces and Tip missions especially are still popular. Typically when a new power set comes out (Issue 22 will have several) there'll be a lot more low level teams too.
It really would help if we knew your server and times you play though, since that might affect the answer somewhat.
I roll with a few groups of players that have really really high end PvE characters. Guess what? They really like the game, like their alts, and do a lot of low-mid level task forces for badges, etc.
So, yeah, maybe especially with people who can run +4/x8 content you will see them happily running mid level characters as well. YMMV
I am on Pinnacle and I am generally online 7pm -- 12am any given evening.

Bishop,
I see and play in mid-level teams all the time on Virtue, Justice and Protector. So while I can't speak to your server specifically, I would extrapolate from the three I can that it's likely similar on all the servers.
Something else I see a lot more of than I used to are teams that just don't care what level you are or what level content they're doing so long as they're punching and blasting their way to safer streets.

The search function can tell you if there are still midlevel characters on your server at your regular playtime.
I play on Virtue during the offpeak hours (Aussie evenings) and there's plenty of teaming and mid-level characters around.
On my own IO'd out super-incarnate I tend to run level 50 hero tips fairly regularly, and often do blanket invites on broadcast or global channel for anyone to join me - I dont mind having people along for a quick powerlevel. I've also had others do the same for me on more than one occasion.
Either doing this or running an XP-earner, I can usually whip up a decent sized team within ten minutes, even at maintenance time.
So teaming is as healthy as ever from what I've seen. Joining a global channel helped a lot - that makes it much easier to find teammates.
A few years ago level hierarchy was very strictly enforced and socially expected. There is a LOT less of that I have noticed recently. I am VERY happy too.

Anyway, I agree with you wholeheartedly: it's a good thing. This game is and always has been one of the easiest to get a team; a big selling point for someone like me that absolutely hates soloing her heroes.

Have you tried the Pinnacle forums? I was just there and the first two posts were a Hami raid and a Mothership raid. Seems stuff is going on all the time. The Mothership raid would be open to any character of any level, and would probably be a great way to meet more active members of the server and get some advice and stuffs.

If you have access to globals Join PinnBadges. There are a lot of teams of many levels forming there all the time. When you join you are autosilcenced so send a tell to an op to have a gag removed.

If you can get online on a Sunday evening, come join the weekly ship raid. I lead 'em, and would be happy to introduce you to some of the more active players on the server.
@Winter. Because I'm Winter. Period.
I am a blaster first, and an alt-oholic second.
Pinnacle native here, and these two pretty much sum it up. Most of the teaming recruitment happens over global channels (PinnBadges and Cozmic's Playground are the big ones). Though, if you advertise coherently and politely over the Help channel that you are looking for a team, there are usually a number of low level teams that will be happy to take someone on, or at least there will be people who can point you toward where to find 'em.

I forgot Cozmic's, it doesn't seem as busy as it once was. But, they do still happen there. Good point nonetheless.

Just to contradict the other people, I am on Pinnacle as well, and I have seen one mission group this year. There are plenty of TF groups. And regularly scheduled MS raids and such. But for missions, you're pretty much going to find Tips to be about it.
The problem is that running tips or TF you get a reward that everyone on the team can get, but you only get that on regular contact missions if you just so happen to be on the same step of the same mission thread, which is rare.

But your second paragraph (while completely true) is inaccurate in it's conclusion (that peeps won't join someone else's arc) based on my experience. I have seen lots and lots of mission teams where we pile thru someone else's arc. I jumped into a AV hunt arc with my 29 Dom this morning and got 11 exp bars in 30 minutes before I had to go. 2 missions. Peeps were circulating through the team the entire time I was there, and i was recruited to replace another person that left. A guy on Virtue runs 50 radio mish teams all the time, seriously, all the time. Open to anyone, any level, he advertises on help.
Thanks for all the replies. I will check out PinnBadges and the Pinnacle forums.

Welcome to Pinn, nice quiet server but you can get things done.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!

Liberty tends to be quite active, especially heroside. There's almost always some low level stuff going, and not all of it is DFBs.
The main channel many of us use for Liberty is LB. It's a good community with a fairly high level of skill and courtesy overall. While there will indeed be quite a bit of trial and TF/SF formation on LB, there are usually people running tip missions, radio/newspapers, mission arcs, etc. Most nights you can put together at least a small team for about any level.

Hi all,
I'm going to close this thread. Please avoid Thread Necromancy. If you wish to discuss a subject addressed in an older thread, please create a new thread and, if appropriate, link to the old thread.
Thank you!

Greetings,
I have newly returned to CoX after a long hiatus and I was wondering: In the age of IO'ed out super-incarnates who solo +4/x8 on a regular basis, do low/mid level folks still get together to just run missions? Are there still low/mid level folks left?
Thanks,
Chris
