Looking for a WP/SS tanker build with generic IO

Hey I am posting this for a guy on Liberty server. his global is @K Mart
He needs help making his character. After chating with him for a bit I found out his current build, he is completely unfamiliar with how to slot and build a character, is majorly messed up. If you all could make a mids build with generic IO that would be a good starting point for him, it would atleast help him do some damage and take a beating right now he is failing bad. Thanks for any help.

PS:Yes I know I am posting is kind of the wrong spot but I am not VIP so I can't post anywhere else. Thanks.

Is he allowed to use invention origins at all?
If not then it would be best to make an SO build for him. Those can help him learn as well.

By saying 'generic io' are you asking for a build that is Single Origin Enhancements (SO) or crafted Invention Origin (non-set Recipes)?

Considering that you've stated you're not VIP, the account status of your friend is going to be just as important, because non-vip's can't use certain IO's.

Nonset IO. He is VIP. He really isn't a friend but I am just helping the guy out. I think it would be better for him to make a build without sets first then to get another build with sets.

Yes if he is VIP he could make his own post but when I was helping him he was having trouble getting around the forums.

Actually I guess it depends on if he is staying VIP. If using nonset IO at 50 there really isn't as much reason not to do SO incase he drops from VIP.

So revise that and make a build with SO's. sorry for all the trouble.

Does he have the Inf and patience to get Hami-Os off the market? They can provide a significant improvement over SOs, and work for all players, Free, Premium, or VIP.

yeah I know how great HamiO is but I have no idea about how good he is with the market. I bet he has inf cause his current build does have nonsetIO and some set IO in it.

I'm not the best builder myself. We all continue learning.

But, I can offer a few tips.

1) slot 2 SOs worth of accuracy minimum in any power that needs accuracy.

2) slot at least 1 endurance reduction SO in every power that uses endurance and isn't on a super long cooldown(Rage doesn't need endurance reduction for example). I tend to slot 2 endurance reduction SOs in every toggle and 2 in every attack, but sometimes you can get away with just one.

3) Everything else is whatever you want.
Slot up to 3 of whatever you want most form a power, such as resistance in your toggles like "Mind Over Body".
I tend to slot attacks for one recharge if they have a recharge at least 8 seconds and then put damage in any remaining slots up to 3.

4) You want to maximize your primary and secondary sets most, getting 5 total slots in your most used attacks, and slotting your travel power a little if needed(such as Teleport requiring at least 3 SOs of endurance reduction and Fly requiring 2 SOs of endurance reduction likely).


Builds can be rather variable though.
