The greatest official crossover ever???

Not if the person who drew that scene is the artist for it.

If Rory is steadying himself for one of those regular bridge-shakes-when-attacked, then Amy should be falling down for striking that I'm-peeved stance directed at... the reader? Poor photoshop layering there.

The displays in the background are slightly out of focus as if reproducing a camera's depth of field for a cinematic effect... but the bulkhead panels above it are not.

Judging by the relative size of The Doctor's hands, they are about 15 feet apart. Talk about relative dimensions in space...

I'm curious if the Borg and Cybermen will team up.

Has the potention to be really bad or good.

"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.

I'm guessing the colorist did that, not the main B&W artist (assuming they're not one and the same). The artist does have some ability to capture the likenesses, which always counts for something in my book, but I have to agree with the rest of your post.

/If anything ever deserved it, this is the thing, this... abomination. This hideousness. This... THING of unwin.
//Now, if it was The Doctor vs Q, maybe we can do that... it'd be even better than the Spock vs Q things. That'd get a +1 from me.

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.

A number of years ago there was a fairly decent (as I remember it) book called The Doctor and the Enterprise, which had the orignal crew meet the fourth Doctor. I think I still have it somewhere. Being unofficial, they couldn't use any names other than the Captain, the Science Officer, the doctor (lower-case d) and the Doctor (upper-case d). At a climactic point, everyone had to evacuate the Enterprise for some reason and they all went into the TARDIS.

Will have to reread that.

Gonna have to agree with houtex on this one. This rates right up there with the second Highlander movie.

Don't want to see a Star Wars crossover either. Now I could see possibilities in a Who/B5 crossover as long as the Doctor was kept away from the main storyline on Babylon 5 itself. But even that has an overwhelming chance of failure.

Ok, just for fun, who would win the follow match-ups?

Black Guardian vs. Q

Adric vs. Wesley Crusher

Like any other crossover, it could be epic or it could fail, hard.

The fun thing about this is that the time/space/dimension hopping premise of Doctor Who is what makes it so easy to justify any sort of crossover. Hell, IDW owns the Transformers license too, I hope this does well so one day I get to see Dalekticons.

Do I need to remind people that Doctor Who was supposed to Cross over with Enterprise years ago?

If you bothered to actually read the thread instead of skimming it before posting you would have seen that someone already mentioned the crossover.

Unless the Black Guardian has the Key to Time, Q wins hands down.

Adric vs. Wesley Crusher

Which Wesley are we talking about? Pre-Traveler? Adric wins. Post Traveler Adric can't beat a guy that can stop the passage of time with a thought.

There was kind of an homage to the Doctor on an episdoe of Deep Space 9 called "Time's Orphan" involving Obrian and Keiko's daughter Molly in which she accidently fell into a Time Portal created by a long lost Time Traveling race. I remember the controls for the time portals being very TARDIS like.

If by "ability" you mean "tracing pictures of actual people", then yes, the artist has an astounding amount of "ability".

Yep Pre-Traveler and I agree that Adric would win, Post Traveler Adric would be toast.

I also agree that Q would win.

The Black Guardian since he is supposed to be the personification of entropy & chaos, should have been more powerful than he was portrayed in the series.

The magnitude of his power should had been the same as the White Guardian who could puck the Tardis out of the time vortex just by thinking it.

Could be worth a look. The Trek/Legion x-over is pretty good so far, so this could work.

Adric.

He had the decency to die.

However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator

Don't make me pull out some Gold Key Star Trek panels, mister! Even if they're just a trace, it still could be worse.
