It's coming. In Port Oakes the pathway under construction HAS made progress since it was started back in... I11 was it? This suggests that it's still on the agenda, though maybe not as fast as we'd like.

It's the pathway to the launch platform. There's a similar construction site in Steel Canyon, but the progress on that one is much harder to gauge.

If I recall correctly, the "launch pad construction" was added somewhere around issue eight. So it only took a couple years for the respective city councils to approve the projects, but since then union issues have held them up. Do you know how hard it is to get an environmental impact study completed on time and under budget when you also have to consider the moon? I think we can expect the inaugural blast-off in 2018 or so. Sooner if a certain someone is elected.

If they were adding more than 4 pieces (that we know of) then maybe. But then of course as GG said, what happened to all the other zones when previous costume packs were released?

The Coming Storm has a pretty big space angle to it, so it's quite possible that we might get something space-ish as part of it

A moon zone isn't the right idea. Just hear me out for a moment. It isn't that important, when you consider all the fun that takes place in instances.

What this game needs is more mission maps that take us to a greater variety of environments. Let your imagination run wild here. Be as epic as you want. Because no matter what you can think of (within reason), your idea could be implemented in mission maps--those places you go to for the real action--for a far greater return on the devs investment.

Let me ask you this. Would you rather have one moon base zone, or a pile of new mission maps featuring space station environments (maybe with giant windows overlooking Earth or Jupiter perhaps), visiting other planetary surfaces, time traveling to wild west towns, 1930s era Paragon, or ancient eastern cities? As an aside, what if that giant windows idea could be implemented into SG bases? How would you like your base to overlook Earth from orbit, or to appear situated on a mountaintop, or desert, or jungle?

But more down-to-Earth, how are you going to like it when your mission on the moon sends you to another "tech lab" map, Praetorian lab, or...warehouse? You might think you want a moon zone, but the truth is, after people have flown or ran around it a few times, many players won't think twice about it unless it's got a Wentworth's or some other necessity. But then, they won't be going for the moon zone, will they?

We need to get Paragon Studios excited about making new mission maps, so that we can DO stuff.

There was a vote a long time ago for which melee set we wanted most. I seem to recall that what we chose wasn't what got made, but I'm sure someone around here better recalls the specifics.

Only Psi Melee hasn't been made. Willpower can easily be the Psi Defense set. Dual Blades got made. Shields got made. And the VERY DISTANT third place Street Fighting set has been made.

So, we've just lost out on the psi melee really. :/
