I couldnt go last yr in the end (last minute stuff) so i'd love to go this yr, but as it stands, put me done as a maybe for now as i wont know till the next few months..i may or maynot bring a lappy depending on if i get one 2.

Would love to come this year - put me down as a maybe and a table/spot within throwing distance of Mereman.

Would be a shame if I can't make it, especially as I'm only down the road near Kidderminster. I'll bring my laptop but if a PC is free with better specs than it I'd love that - probably best to stay in a hotel rather than missing last trains etc.

Would definitely want to get along this year as long as I'm not away on the dates.
Could bring the net top if necessary (not really powerful enough but just about usable) would need a monitor though.

Hi All

Apologies for the thread necromancy here, but just wondering if anyone had heard from Kallandra of late, and whether or not this year's meet is still going ahead ?

Still keen to attend this year, but need to start planning my schedule for September, and just want to confirm if I need to keep the weekend free for the meet up.


Apologies if I've missed something elsewhere, I don't always keep up with all the variant discussion mediums for this game (duffer that I am!)

Hi all,

Sorry for being rather quiet of late!

As far as I'm aware, the player meet is still going ahead, however due to Global Gaming being unavailable for September (as they're moving to larger premises: which will be good for next year!) I am currently waiting to hear back from an alternative venue in Birmingham.

I'm also waiting to hear back from NCSoft and Paragon Studios on the logistics/possibility of turning one of the conference rooms at one of the hotels in Birmingham in to a mini-con/gaming room type thing. However, if they're unable to help out I will unfortunately be forced to cancel.

As soon as I know the details of the new venue I will let everyone know. If, for whatever reason it becomes un-feasible I'll post.

Sorry for not keeping everyone in the loop, it's been rather stressful, and as a few of you know I'm in and out of hospital a lot.

As someone who has spent a fair bit of time in and out of hospital themself, I know how stressfull it can all be, so kudos to you for taking this on as well!

I'm the wrong end of the country to be able to offer any practical help, but if there's anything I can do to assist, then let me know

Is anyone heading to the Rezzed Event in brighton 6/7th july , http://www.rezzed.com

Don't think NCSoft is gonna be at it.
( thats a shame really as there used to have a offices here as cyptic)

There are only three alternatives. It thinks were either a threat, food, or a mate. Its gonna either kill us, eat us, or hump us.

Way too far for me to travel unfortunately.

NCSoft actually still have an office in Brighton, contrary to popular belief. The EU Marketing team is based there.

Just a quick post to let everyone know I've updated the OP and it's all systems go!

Looking forward... okay, nervous as hell, but looking forward to seeing you all again this year, and hopefully a load of new faces too.

Gangrel and I should be travelling down on the Friday (7th) and probably popping in to The Square Peg (the Wetherspoons pub opposite the old Omega Sektor building) for a drink. If anyone wants to join us either drop in and look for the folks that look like gamers, or leave a forum message and we'll keep an eye out for you. The regulars should have my mobile number from previous years lol :P
