Hotel and Train booked. Travelling up on Friday afternoon, there for the whole weekend.
I was going to drive, but took one look at Birmingham's roads and decided it was probably a better idea not to let my road rage loose on that network

Anybody have a clue what we're likely to do on the playing side ? Most of my interesting toons are sitting on Victory, so I'm planning to use a load of my stockpiled server transfers, but I'd quite like to do them in advance just in case the copy tool is down.

But going by last year I think we Defiant types ran a Kahn. We also tried a Itrial (and I can't remember which) on Union.
A cossie comp on a quiet NA server (this you won't need to transfer any as it's for lvl1
I would suggest a good all rounder to transfer (dom, troller, fender or Scrapper/Brute) are always welcome. With one or two of those you should be fine.

Well as it will be only a temp alt for the cossie comp then perhaps we use a server that you have moved an alt over from. Then just delete it again.
Mind you I have nothing to do with running the player meet. So I could be talking out of my backside

As for the costume competitions, we held them on one of the empty-ish US servers last year (I forget which one), but at 3pm UK time it was practically dead. For this year, we might use either Vigilance or Zukunft depending on how many slots folks have spare - you only need 1 as we first do a "Hit the random button till you get something so ugly it makes you feel sick" costume, then you can delete that one and compete in the "Hit the random button till you get something so fantastic, it's amazing" costume

If I have a character where I just want to try the powerset combo and don't already have a concept, I tend to hit the random button several times till I get something that looks suitable but I do then tidy it up a bit. The ones I actually work on tend to be the ones so ugly you need shades.
I appear to have an IOd out but not incarnated granite brute on union, and an alphad and IOd ice tank so I can do crunchies, my only 50 squishy is an ill/TA who's a bit of a mess.
I also seem to have have a tank and a fire/FF on defiant, so I'll probably wait to do transfers to see if we need anything specific.

Just wanted to say that Kendai no longer exists. Elder Simons will be coming though... (so you can remove Kendai from the list)
