What are lyrics in Pocket D?

The tune that plays when you stand next to DJ Zero, what exactly are they saying?
It sounds like
"The brothers and the Zuthers say you caved the house"
which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

You're expecting some pseudo-techno rump-bumper to make sense?

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

I always heard it as "The brothers and the sisters are in the house!"

Most of the "speech" in the game is gibberish that is structured to sound like it's actually saying something. Notable exceptions are Recluse's propaganda in Grandville, and of course the spoken directions in the new tutorial.

"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill

That's what i thought it was as well.
i think it's actually in an alien language that translates as "Immense power over space and reality itself but can't afford to buy more than one CD single!"

Dr. Todt's theme.

DJ Zero just really likes the song. The ravers have started to get sick of it but nobody is nearly powerful enough to challenge him so they all just sort of grit their teeth and deal with it. At this point they dance only ironically.

I've always thought it said, for some reason:

"The Brothers and the Sisters! The UK is in the house!"

But perhaps I'm mistaken. And yeah, there needs to be some new music. Perhaps they can tune to one of those CO* radio stations...

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.

Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012

I think one of the quotes in the Pocket D track goes on the lines of "Techno music it's, it's, everything...!", just before it goes into heavy trance/techno part of the track.

I always heard- "The Brothers and the Sisters! The DJ is in the house!"

It makes more sense this way since it the song being played by the DJ.

You're referring to the Guy floating nearly motionless in the middle of the club, right?
DJ Zero's ability to work the crowd easily exceeds his skill at mixing and putting together a set.

Turns out his real name is Richard Talent.

I was like, "Could you play a different song? You've been playing the same one for four years and it's getting kinda old." And he was like, "Okay but first you need to go kill this Snaptooth guy for me." So I did that, and I came back, and he was like, "Okay, go kill Snaptooth again...."

It would be cool if the devs made the music in Pocket D like the music you hear in a lot of those virtual nightclubs on Second Life...

...what???

Erm... that is, you know how Virtue has "The Cape"? Imagine if that was piped directly from the game itself, like the game was acting as the client. There could be a DJ booth in Pocket D and the player acting as DJ would have to go in there and click on something and maybe enter some kind of password to set up the link. When no one is DJing then it defaults to... one of those internet radio channels, I forget what those are called.

I guess the DJs would all have to be authorized by the devs or the GMs, and also this would only be for one server so.... yeah. I don't know! lol

There are lyrics to that song? Hmm. Never heard any that I can remember.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I always thought the lyrics were:

Bum bum-bum BA DA DA BUM!

Bum bum-bum BA DA DA BUM BUM
Bum bum-bum BA DA DA BUM!

Chica chica chica chica chica chica chica chica
Chica chica chica chica chica chica chica chica

Bum bum-bum BA DA DA BUM BUM
Bum bum-bum BA DA DA BUM!

I spend an inordinate amount of time just sitting in Pocket D, and I had NO idea there were words at all...
Attention fail.

Gonna have to go listen now!

See I always heard it as "The boppers and the choppers you CAN the house!" Which doesn't make any sense at all.

And then there's that guy mumbling something about "it's now, it's everything!"

I'm pretty sure they're saying "Purple Monkey Dishwasher."

Are you all deaf? It's obvious that they are saying

Bow-chicka-bow-wow.

It is Pocket D after all.
