Marvel's version of Nemesis?
Holy IP issues, Batman!
$Diety I haven't read XMen for the longest time. That made no sense to me whatsoever!
This is a song about a super hero named Tony. Its called Tony's theme.

Is it any wonder why Marvel keeps the X-Men properties separate? >.>

"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.
Either he's gone off the deep end or he's starting a new Inner Circle. Either way, yesh... Maybe it's not a bad thing I haven't followed Comics a lot lately.
Thank you for the time...
I saw some stuff in DC that is clearly them ripping off CoH too... kinda messed up
I doubt anything done in this game is original, as far as characters/storylines.
And Sinister sucks! He's scared of Apocalypse, for crying out loud!

What's changed?
1.stopped not long after the Twelve storyline I think it was. The snippets I remember from when I was last reading are that Wolverine had been made the horseman of death and gotten out of it, The High Evolutionary changed all the mutants to humans which got fixed and Magneto got nucked by Xaviers strangled in the womb twin sister and Emma frost joined the team.
"The best thing about being a robot duplicate of Lord Nemesis is, well... Everything."
Is that a sign of being sucky now? I haven't read main universe Marvel comics for a long time now(1) but back when I was reading the X titles he was a pretty big deal, one of the (if not the) most dangerous enemies of the X-Men.

Apocalypse is a mutant who's been alive for millenia, can alter his gentic structure at the molecular level and has access to Celestial tech for the same amount of time. Yet, what has he actually accomplished in all that time? NOTHING. Dude couldn't even succeed in killing an infant (Black Manta's done that much and he's an Aquaman villain.)
Now, think about someone like Doom, Magneto or even the Red Skull. All of them have had far less time and resources than Apocalypse yet have achieved MUCH greater results.
If I had my way, Poccy would be a villain of the entire Marvel U, not just the X-Men. Now, he's pretty much a jobber so I can't respect him.
Didn't he die when Rogue touched him with her "death powers?"
Or...so I heard when I read a summary of what's been happening since I stopped reading comics. I also stopped somewhere around Civil War....or was it the Twelve? X-men in general has been horrible since around Emma Frost joining.
....then again, I also kept in mind he was the guy that cloned everyone....so, how easy would it be to say: Oh, you killed a clone.
*shrugs*
Mr. True Shot.
Level 53: Arrows/Devices/Munitions Blaster
....and hopeless Science-Natzi.
He recently showed up in Uncanny X-Force (AWESOME book, btw.)
He was basically re-incarnated as some kid and X-Force had to make a moral choice of whether to kill a child for what he "might" become (I won't tell you how it turns out but is was great, imo.)
Oh, and I love Emma on the team. Her relationship with Cyclops is one of the most refreshing things at Marvel. They rarely show a realistic, adult relationship in comics, so I like it. Can't stand Jean Grey.
Wait a sec! When did Colossus become Juggernaut?!?!
Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?
Honestly, though, Sinister plots are far more ubiquitous than Nemesis plots. Indeed, one could even say that Nemesis plots are, in fact, Sinister plots.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be
-- The Fox and the Hound
I'd always thought that Nemesis was (loosely) based on Doctor Doom, what with his plans within plans, ruler-like stature and replicants so that you can never be sure he really is dead.
That's just it. Nothing's changed. He's still supposed to be a big X-men villain but it's the frellin' X-men!

I thought they were iSentinels.
But then why would they be on the X-Men's side? |
As for why they are there? *shrug* I haven't picked up any X-comic in years.
Are they on the X-Men's side? Uh... the Celestials are cosmic forces. They technically aren't on anyone's side. They shouldn't even notice that the X-Men are there, because there is quite literally nothing that the X-Men should be able to do to them on a permanent basis. (Side note: In an issue of Thor, many years ago, Thor managed to breach the helmet of a Celestial. The process of doing so destroyed Mjolnir (it got better), and Thor still wasn't able to harm the Celestial at all.)

So, as a back-up, he has Magik, Peter and Kitty travel to Cytorakk's realm to get him to reemove his enchantment. The demone-god does so and is about to choose Illyana as his new vessel until Pete interferes and gets it.
He then goes on to fight Cain, mano y mano.
It looks to me like Sinister is setting himself up to be Marvel's version of our favorite Prussian Prince of Automatons.

I can see some similarities.
