I think it could be something that creates a weaker version of yourself that uses Dark Assault and Dark Armour.
I made a similar suggestion here in the future sets thread about a entire powerset dedicated to it.
I spent more time thinkin' about it, and as mentioned previously, there's the doppleganger tech in the new Posi TF, in various Tip missions as your automaton, clone facility storyarcs, Statesman TF with Dr. Aeon's summoned versions, minorly in Judgement Vorpal, Trapdoor's Bifurcation technique, Neuron's Army o' Neu, etc., and I think there's a very good chance its the tier nine.

My theory of the t9 is an awesome dark pet. Since we just got some four-legged stuff, my wild speculation is a cerberus pet.

I think the tier 9 will be a controllable pet, or a shadow doppelganger of yourself.

It occurs to me that Dark Control doesn't have any leech-like powers, making it the only dark set not too.
I'm hoping the tier9 has some kind of a siphon/leech type theme/function to it. It just doesn't seem like Dark without one.

I really hope it's something like Soul Extraction and not making a clone of myself.
Another thought: Gang War, but summoning the specter things you get earlier in the powerset. Now you go from having 2 of them to having like 12!

I think it'd be some sort of summon a shadow copy of either A) yourself B) your single target enemy
or
C) summon X amount of "shadow copies" per enemies in a certain radius, these wouldn't be pure copies like the doppelganger tech but maybe something like Gang War?
