Really disappointed at the decision to lock a costume set behind a purchasable random roll. The only solace I take is that they'll probably reverse the decision after all the negative feedback they get.

This sort of thing works best when people have the option to sell off the stuff they don't like to try and mitigate the cost of purchasing things they didn't want.
Locking it to an account, not great. 'specially since it'll be bought with real cash.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that. Some people will enjoy the randomness of it, but if few people take part, they won't devote more resources to it.
Not that we could tell what the costume even looked like.
Loved the *one* comment about it. "Well, that's neat". You could almost hear the crickets.
Kind of disappointed they're putting the AT IOs in it too, though it sounds like the costume is the only thing explicitly gated behind the random draw so hopefully we'll see those elsewhere soon.
I'm not opposed to the random pack idea, just so long as the costume is offered on the market eventually.
Also, Darkness control, neet. And enjoying the new Dark Astoria makeover, should be creepy cool. Though, 30+? That seems a little odd, given so many DA missions are from Talos, so PCs can be anywhere between 1 and 10 levels lower than that >>
Btw this is being streamed on Ustream somewhere.
Buff pet / vanity pet toggle change is due to server issues. "Pets take the same server load as players."
PvP revisited to make it more interesting and engaging? Suggestion was to have PvP duel in Atlas where others can watch but not interfere, or villain invades Steel to rob a bank but then has to escape all heroes in zone. Answer was basically PvP is hard to change.
How about more Herocons? "We've been =really= busy." But this FPS is sorta a proof of concept, so let them know.
What are the chances of getting MMs with wolves? "Your chances are better now than they've ever been."
What are the chances of 3D printing figures of your character? They would love to do that, but lots of significant technical issues.

I was actually counting on them to release something like this. Most MMOs with a cash shop have a lottery item with a low chance to get something really good. It's a stupid good cash sink for people with money to blow trying to get their shiny new item.

The amazing thing is that this terrible idea is overshadowing the terrible decision to make some IOs store exclusive.

its a kmmo idea, hopefully feedback will get to ncsoft and they will get the hint that this thing wont work with coh's fanbase. the 15 emerits didnt go live, this will go through the same gauntlet.
oh and dark astoria revamp, woo, tsoo and bp , meaning a likelyhood of more cool asian themed stuff for the higher level tsoo..double woo.
