Is it actually purchasable?

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

Negative. Hence my "first look" title versus "its here".

I 'spose I just couldn't keep the joy of being the first to see it this side of the Atlantic all to myself.

You can see it on youtube....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNiP-o-ajII

Looks really bad considering MA and SS are the "brawler" type powersets. Street Justice just looks like a last minute idea. The best move is the uppercut, and not by much.

Many. many people would disagree with you. Martial Arts and Super Strength both bring specific concepts of fighting style to mind which don't really fit the "unskilled/non-powered brawler" style, and as such many feel limited by them.

There's been people asking for a street fighting type of set for years. While I'm not terribly interested in it, I think it's a nice, polished looking set.

Are we watching the same video? Cos StJ is awesome. That video doesn't do it justice - you really need to take it out into the world to play with it in real time. Gut punching, jimmy-kickin', face-smashing fun.

We wants it!

No one pays attention to me, cause I listen to the voices in my head.

I've been wanting a "commando training" style melee set for a long time myself, one that does NOT look like a formal "martial art" per se. This will work well for that.

Particularly since, in 5 attempts, that video doesn't play. Other YouTube videos play on this machine; other COH Street Justice videos in the links displaying on that page play on this machine. But that one doesn't.

^This. The first half of the video is the guy/girl just trying to decide what color scheme to use for it. Then only a very short amount of time for the actual powers themselves.

Sorry. Couldn't enjoy the video due to the stupid pants they put on that toon. Bad enough I have to tell my nephews to pull up their pants...I shouldn't have to tell it to CoHers now too. :P

Just bought it!

Hmm, now the question is do I buy some paragon points or wait for the free VIP points to refresh.

And which non-stalker melee AT do I want to choose.

Looks very fast animating with a -res ability. Very promising, but numbers would be nice.

Any word on that 'special thing' dominators are getting?

No?

Oh well, look, another melee set! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

(yeah, yeah, I know, I know. And the set at least looks like it took some effort to construct and animate.)

How is it's AoE?

The set is damn fun. The numbers are visible at the creation screen even if you've not bought it yet, though of course that doesn't help you if you don't have access to the game right now.

I say it has exceptional aoe. Its cone and its taoe are both quite small compared to those in most other melee sets, but they not only do great damage, they do it with short animations. The fact that they have secondary effects that ramp up in effectiveness the higher your charge level is is a nice little bonus.

Much like KM, there aren't any bad DPA melee powers in the set and it has the advantage of having an extreme damage tier 9. This seems to be the direction they're going with new melee sets. You could argue this either way, but I would say that unlike KM it doesn't have a demanding "ramp up" mechanic that many find distasteful; for scrappers at least, the charge up thing simply turns already-great powers into ridiculous powers. Oh and here's one number for you: tier 3 charge adds 25% base damage to the two aoes and the tier 9. It does not enhance crits but when the tier 9 already crits for 200 base damage, uh, I'm going to accept this.

Now isntead of having a set which I wasn't interested in at all, I now have a set I really could fancy getting into.

Do you know how many alts i21 has added for me already, plus old ones I was already working on, I really didnt need this!!
