Fastest Time on the Signature Story Arc

My current best time on the Signature Story Arc is 7 minutes 35 seconds on a claws scrapper with invisibility.

I'm sure it can be beat. Curious to know other times!

I saw people in the channels talking about 7 minutes too.

I only did it twice, 30 mins the first (reading, some faceplanting at the ambushes) and 15 the second. But it was on a lvl 15 completely unslotted human PB

kat/SR (purples in GC and GD) with SS and I did it in 6.58 min. If I could find the exit in the first mission (i am still not sure if there is any) it would be faster around a few seconds.

Kangstor - how are you getting back to the contact so quickly then if not by the exit?

Nice time by the way!

A friend pointed out to me that you can drop an O port and exit that way. I haven't tried it myself, though.

Super speed and ninja run (using super speed on straight ways and switch to ninja run when i need to jump over an obstacle than switch back to super speed again)

6:30 is my best on a SS/FA brute

But if you ouro out of the first mission, how is that good for your time? You have to get from founders to skyway to the contact to the next mission. You guys must have short loading times.

I've beaten it in six and some change on a blaster of appropriate level for the arc. All you need to do is kill four bosses and that's the arc. A stealth IO helps, other than that the only thing required is damage.

Who cares about goody two-shoes? Ouro -> Cap.

... Ok, if there's only four bosses to kill heroside, maybe it's worth caring about it. Devs hate villains, etc..

Even with o-zoning to Cap, I've found my blueside times consistently faster than my redside times. The extra fighting in the last mish seems to make the biggest difference.

Ha, hadn't occurred to me that you meant the villain one. Haven't tried that one yet. However, if both sides are getting times in the seven minute range, it seems they must have balanced it pretty well!

6:22 on my Claw/Inv scrapper

Using Base TP not Oro portal

"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"

I can not understand the need of "I have the fastest time" apart from the every 30 second ambush in the first mission its fun to run,my average time is about 27 minuets so I,m quite happy with that.Just a thought if the speed runners get the time down to around 5 minuets will they nerf the rewards for it .

Prof Radburn controller,Celtic Ice Maiden, blaster,Miss Knockout scrapper,Mistress Davina controller,Stone Hart, tank Split Personality PB.Queen Lostris controller,Fridgid Mary blaster,Shocking Fire blaster Future Elfling defender, Little Weed controller,Capo Angelo MM, Commander Buzzsaw MM, Justice Tank tank all 50,s

Don't worry about that, Prof. I guess I could be off base but I feel very secure in saying that the reason the rewards are as good as they are in the first place is that they want even a short arc to seem valuable enough that someone might be tempted to spend five bucks on the unlock. This combined with the fact that all of the SSAs, once more of them exist, will share the same reward timer indicates to me that they don't really care how quickly you complete the arc, just that you bother to do so.

I've gotten to 7:20, using the exit in the first mission. Never thought to Ouro or base portal out. Will have to try that.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

6 minutes 9 seconds heroside no ouro elec/nrg blaster

EDIT: That toon is my main, has purples about anywhere I could reasonably put them, a stealth IO, super speed, used a raptor pack in bursts for obstacles. I'm not above clicking rages to one-shot mobs with bonesmasher!

My melee toons with some dps to them do this in the 8-minute range just off ninja run and sprint running while rocking 2 or 3 defensive inspirations to click glowies untouched.

Thank you, City of Heroes, for giving me a superhero social network combined with amazingly smooth game play. Petitions signed with realistic expectations.

What about 2-box times? I haven't yet done it with just one character, but my lowest for 2-boxing is about 10ish minutes (don't remember specifics for seconds). I'd rather get the rewards twice in 10-11 minutes than once in 6-7 minutes, even though it means more mobs and 2x the travel.

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

6:40 on my mind/fire dom. Could probably bring that down a bit if I ran it some more.

13:22 And I was actually trying to be fast.

"Hmm, I guess I'm not as omniscient as I thought" -Gavin Runeblade.
I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

My best is 9min 20sec, but it was with a controller so I feel happy about it(an Illusion/Time controller)

I've done it in under ten minutes with a few my toons. I'm not going to bother timing it, it's nothing special.
