@Lyrik
Same issue here, as well..
Same, on IE.
I was doing really well using Arcanaville's hosts file suggestion until the most recent forum maintenance.
Now, it forgets me regularly.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
Not that I think it'll work, but try the "Reset your NCSOFT Master Account password" trick (the post-patch trick that gets you Back into the forums) for the hell of it.
Broken forums are broken. I had to reset password just to even get back on after the 'update'. Now the remember me button might as well not exist.

I notice that if my browser crashes that when the session is restored I'm not logged in again. However when I do login it kept the same last on date that I had before the crash. I consider that an improvement.

Folks, I'm using IE9, and this forum is NOT the only one that's forgetting me. Even my bank forgot my account loging pseduo name. That last gave me the heebie jeebies, and I started looking for answers on this.
Lookin' around, I'm leaning more towards either two things:
1) Virus/trojan/whatever deleting cookies in the hopes it can catch a password for something useful. I've scanned pretty good, though, there doesn't *seem* to be anything lurkin' about...
2) Protected vs not-protected mode of the browser (IE9). I've turned it off for testing, but am still relogging into everything... will know more later.
This could possibly also be a symptom of the compatible/non-compatible thing, but I don't have a broken page icon for this website... probably should look into that too, I'm really confused as to why that is, when I've got it set to let me choose... but it's not there. Hm.
Anyway, workin' on it, will pass on info soonest.

Firefox, latest update. Win 7 user. Having the same issue.
Having the same issue here. Thought it was just me, Firefox remembers my username/password just fine, but the Coh forums won't keep me logged in once i close out the window.
Ditto. Forum forgets my login when I close the browser. (And still occasionally as I'm navigating the forums.)

This is the ONLY forum I have this issue on.
While this IS the only forum I get idle-kicked from (because I open many tabs and the non-active tabs idle out), I do know that there is an IE security/privacy setting that automatically clears some of the content unless you turn it off. Now since I use IE7 and it only affects IE8+, I can't think of the actual function off the top of my head. The same section of IE settings includes something that clears your search history as well upon every browser restart by default.
Since the Forum update (well, as of when I could log back into it yesterday), the Forum isn't remembering me even though I have it checked. Every time I restart my browser session, I have to re-log back in. Anyone else experiencing this?
I'm using Chrome.
