Server Selection

  • The Scroll Bar for the Server Select Screen should no longer snap back to the top position after you slide it.

Server Transfer
  • Praetorians, Rogues and Vigilantes should no longer report incorrect data when they are transferred to another server.

Paragon Market - Mac Client
  • Font issues that caused an X to appear instead of text should now be resolved for OS 10.7

Paragon Market
  • Players should no longer become disconnected to the Paragon Market after 10 minutes of idling.
  • Fixed a client crash when removing items from Paragon Market shopping cart with a scroll bar.

Bug Reporting
  • /bug should no longer bring up the /petition window by default

Enhancement Base Storage
  • Players should be able to add or remove + and ++ enhancements from base storage.
    • This does not apply to any Invention Origin Enhancements that have been level boosted.

Alignment Missions
  • Tip Missions can now be dismissed
    • Previously the "Dismiss this Contact" option was missing for tips.

Hah! I hadn't even realized why /bug was confusing me, I just thought I'd forgotten how to use it.

All I really want is for the market to stop showing things I've already got.

The real question - can I dismiss missions like Sister Jocasta or Debutantes and still get to 5 tips that day? A cautious WOO! here.

Dismiss is like abandon. Deletes the tip. Does not complete it.

This would mean I can run a tip with someone else to get to the 5th slot; but can I get another tip to drop in it's place?

This. Seeing things I know I already own makes me wonder if that cool-looking costume piece might be something I already have as well. So I end up buying nothing.

Personally, I'd prefer an option we could use to switch between displaying the stuff we already own, but without a buy button, and not displaying it. One of the things I dislike about the market in another MMO is not being able to see stuff I already own, because I can't discuss it with my friends who don't have it.

The Known Issues announcement

Is false.

Costume bundles, any costume pieces, auras, emotes, or powers associated with said packs are SHOWING a buy button even if you have bought the entire pack before:

Booster 1: Technology
Booster 2: Magic
Booster 3: Super Science
Booster 4: Martial Arts
Booster 5: Mutant
Going Rogue: Basic
Going Rogue: Complete
Good vs Evil
Origins Pack
Mac/Valkyrie Pack
Steampunk Pack
Vanguard Pack
Wedding Pack

I don't own the Animal Pack, so I can't verify that this also suffers from the same problem, but I do have every one of the above.

The ONLY things from Going Rogue that have removed the buy button are "Access to Praetoria" and the "Alignment System".

The store is new tech. What you've bought previously was never recorded in that tech. They need to find some way to have two disparate systems talk to each other nicely. It's not easy.

Snow Globe is right. Most items I already own are showing a buy button. I have maybe a half-dozen things that are missing a buy button over the entire store. The vast majority show it. So unless I KNOW I don't already own it (i.e. it was released with issue 21) I'm not buying anything.

It would be nice to have the option to see which items were in which costume packs as well, I haven't picked up a few costume pieces I saw in the character creator because I'd rather get them in the bundles and get the whole "set" at once.

The ability to purchase things that were already on the account was reported in beta. The reaction of other beta testers was "It's beta, it'll get fixed before it goes live."

Unsurprisingly, it wasn't fixed before it went live.

I suggest submitting a /bug on this *every time* you log in until it's fixed. This kind of "shouting" seems to be the only way to get the developers attention.

No, not false as that's mean. Let's just say some fine tuning is required.

It is an either/or thing. Either it is true or false.

If they didn't say in the notes, why would you think they'd tell you now?

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Hmm. No mention of a fix for server transfers for characters with apostrophes in their names... Bummer. I still need to move Mei'jin...

I'd imagine the issue with the "buy" button has to do with the fact that no one, prior to the store coming out, purchased the "Magic Costume - Bundle" (or whatever its called) because we all purchased the Super Booster 2 : Magic.

Still needs to be fixed asap.

Yeah, but I bought Atomic Aura and it's within that same system yet it still shows up with a Buy Now button. It's not just a two different systems trying to talk to each other issue. But you are correct, it is new and will take time to fine tune.

And since they broke up all the previous booster packs into separate costume, power, emote, aura and capes sub-groups that those as well as all the included pieces really need to be marked by some means as already owned in the store.

But this is what this VIP Head Start is for, identify the problems with the new item market and fix them before trying to entice new and returning players.

Nope... I bought the Global Aura and Cape Unlocks. Still have a "Buy" button. Same goes for the Knowledgeable badge.

Yes, it does. Additionally there is no receipt (email or on the account screen) of ANY purchases made.

Being beta testers on the beta server is fine. Being a beta tester on the live servers is not.
