In hindsight, it was to be expected with the Star Trek: TNG/X-men crossover book.

I have nothing against Picard or TNG at all. I'm fairly sure I've seen every episode of TNG they ever made. But basically when I think about "Star Trek" and "comic book crossovers" it just somehow make more sense for it to involve the TOS crew than any other show. Somehow the 60's era Trek just seems more appropriate for the fun comic book treatment.

The irony of course is that Patrick Stewart has played Professor X in the movies, but still I don't think that makes TNG better for comic books than TOS.

A different one each issue so if there is enough issues, all of them.

Generally I'd say the chick with the green skin, but the one with green skin is a guy, so I'd say Shadow Lass since at least she has blue skin.

Too many alts to list.

Again for some reason TOS+comic seems cool whereas TNG+comic seems dumb.
I don't really know why - it just seems weirdly more "appropriate" that way.
If I knew absolutely nothing about the two titles I'd pick up the TOS related one first.

Apparently this is The Original Series crossover with DC, no Picard, The Next Generation (TNG) crossed over with X-Men (Marvel)

Well obviously as a female character inserted into a comic book she was drawn in a more "traditional comic book" style.

Judging by the cover, the eras seem to be all screwed up. Some Legionaires are in their Grell/Cockrum era costumes (Element Lad, Shadow Lass), while others are in their Giffen era costumes (Chameleon Boy, Cosmic Boy).

Oh, and lol, you can see part of Superboy's feet on the right. And Supergirl's in the upper right corner. Whatta they doin there ?
