EDIT: ARGH! I hate Twitpic sometimes... links last for like 5 minutes and then are worthless.

EDIT 2: Crud... same problem with my other favorite facepalm picture (Ms Liberty).

I went to check, but I don't have an actual Facebook account so I figured that's why I couldn't see one... either that or they better hurry up and add it!

My guess is, they have to have the legalities of a contest down and stated first. To host a contest before having the rules published somewhere may cause NCSoft some tricky problems.

They gotta cover their collective butts, I'm sure it'll be up in the next few hours.

But I also agree that Beastyle is playing with ponies on Ava and Zwi's desk...

the rules of the contest and whatnot were in the link DR posted, so that part is done

on the rules page it says that the contest starts 9 am CST july 21 (not sure what time that is for eastern) but it sounds like it should have been started by now

9 am CST= 8 am EST, so yes, it should have been started 9 hours, 40 mins ago. (5:40 pm EST as I post this)

Meh, I have such a stellar record for not winning contests that I think I'll just buy it when it goes live. Even the RL RNG hates me, probably more than any in-game one.

Know that feeling. I've never had any luck getting costume codes or any of that... But that bird-girl in my avatar pic? She needs a facepalm emote. Badly.

It's the only response she'll ever need when another one of those "Rescue Skydragon. Again. Because he's a dork." tip missions comes up.

Anyone else steamed by the fact that this appears to require a Facebook account to even enter? Some of us have no desire to share personal info with a website of questionable integrity - and given their stances on privacy, I'd consider them to be of questionable integrity.

I get that it would seem to help limit the instances of people managing to get second or third codes for the emotes, but so would making it a forum thing since then you'd know that one account won't get multiples (the same person might get codes for multiple accounts though I suppose).

Is the facepalm emote going to be in the store though, that's what I want to know. If it won't, then I may have little choice as I really want it and I might have to sign up for a FB account (to be deleted the second the contest is over). If it will be in the store, I'll just pay the points and be done with it.

Also you can just make a facebook with no personal info or fake personal info.
