This. Green Stuff's easy in comparison. Much to my frustration, there's "always" someone who dies.

On the up side, I've got some serious top shelf badgers teaming for this one. Leandro, TopDoc, Max Blast, Caliburst, a number more. At this rate we'll get the "run Keyes trial 100 times" hidden badge before all of you...

on victory we got loves a challenge tonight, it took us 2 attempts to get that one

we prolly tried about 8+ attempts for avoids the green stuff but been having awful luck with it, theres always someone not paying attention or just plain unlucky timing by getting the time freeze exact same time as the beam

I have now given up on this badge for the foreseeable future. Having a badge depending on my performance while doing something is one thing. Having it depend on a bunch of people who can't read/follow instructions/or don't care about what their actions do to others is something altogether different. Here's hoping these kind of badge shenanigans do not rear their ugly heads again in I21.

Unfortunately, these badge shenanigans have never left us. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought the devs said that future 'Master of' badges would not involve a 'no deaths' requirement. Oh well.

Got this, FINALLY. Had an impromptu trial set up after the Freedom player auctions and a Horde Master ITF run, totally unplanned, but we made it work. Kudos to everyone who helped (including a few fresh faces on my teams, like @Medic of Death and @RadiaGoon) make this a win.

finally got avoids the green stuff and hence the master badge last night, took us like 25-30 attempts at avoids the green stuff to get it

for some odd reason we have 0 issues getting loves a challenge, but avoids the green stuff was just freaking painful lol

Just did a perfect MoKeyes run on Freedom. Officially can boast I've run a trial with the best of the best. Thank you for leading us on the run for the shiny badge, Dr. Turgenev!

For the record, Lil Ms. Morna had not done Keyes at all on that alt. We started with the cut scene and she confirmed the perfect run when she got all five badges.

Yes, I will be boasting about how awesome this team was for the rest of the year, at least!

Yes, Thank you to everyone on this team. Turg has been running nightly MoKeyes Badge runs on freedom for at least a week and all the practice culminated in this final perfect run. Since I had the badge already on my main badger (thanks kotchie!), I had taken an alt that never ran keyes expecting only to get my emp merit and keyes completion badge...what a nice surprise!

So yeah, yesterday, I posted that we finally, FINALLY got that damned "Loves a Challenge" badge after trying for a week or so straight.

Tonight, what do we do?

We do 'em all in one, smooth run.

Thank you Turg for setting up all these attempts. It took me about 20 attempt at Avoids the Green Stuff and them about 15 at Loves a challenge to get them.

And then of course we got them all a second time tonight in one run.


Still, I'm concerned about what these badges may mean for future trials. I really hope we don't have similarly difficult badges coming up. The Keyes badges seemed to be as much about luck as skill in getting them.

I believe it is to be read as: Complete the KIR Trial without having anyone die and without destroying any terminals in the final battle versus Anti-Matter.

I think the wording they chose is perfectly clear, and has to do with the use of negatives in the first half of the sentence. Because it says "without" that made what could have been an "and" into the "or."

Example:
The people aren't awake or ready this early in the morning.
VS
The people aren't awake and ready this early in the morning.

Example written in 'Math':
-a-b = -(a+b)

While I am not entirely sure on the which of the above is more grammatically correct, it seems to me that both are read to mean the same thing.

When we got it on Protector last week, we were joking that the "Hugs it Out" badge should be awarded as well for all of the profanity this Mo badge generated. Congrats!!

Turg....I do not think you have enough Lore pets :P

I am sure the next trials will just get progressively harder. Just as getting incarnates unlocked (and being +3) made the first trials much easier. We have people soloing TF's now with ease thanks to incarnates (I realize people solo'd TF's before incarnates, but I feel unlocking incarnates enable a much wider variety of AT's to do so)

The trials, imo, are just going to get harder, so it may be time to step up your "game" :P

I've got a character on Freedom that just needs Bunker Buster, but I'll help out with all of them.

I ran with Yat Man and some others through quite a few runs a while back, but missed out on the one.
